Great book

This was a great storyline and the readers made the story come alive. I will definitely look for more books by the author.

The Slowest of Slow Burns

I enjoyed the book it was a sweet romance about two best friends that found their way back to each other.

This book is everything

Teagan and Derrick took me to high school friends and love. This book is so relatable that I absolutely couldn't put it down and never wanted it to end. This book is masterfully written, with all the feels.

Loved

I literally loved this book. I couldn't stop listening. The way the author wrote the dialog without he said this, and she said that, made it feel like you could really connect with the characters. It is truly a realistic feel-good story. I would highly recommend it.

Corrine never disappoints with her stories. There is always some twist that keeps me hanging on for more.

I had only read author in cowrites

I knew I was in for an emotional read, but it was not as bad as I expected, single parents former bffs are brought back together after tragedies and the entire book was a journey of working out feeling from the past.

I'd recommend I related to some of the situations single mom and heroine went thru with the father of her daughter, I enjoyed the reconnecting with our Hero and the way he did more for her also the rivaling between two teenage girls brought some funny antics. the narration was also outstanding.

Heartbreakingly Good!

I found myself listening to yet another Corinne Michaels audiobook and feeling heartbroken yet again. This story goes from Teagan being in high school and meeting Derek for the first time and then to the present. Being a single mom and struggling with everything. Without the help of her parents letting her rent the apartment above the antique shop, she would not be able to provide a roof over her daughter's head.
When Derek and Teagan met they became best friends, it didn't matter that either of them was dating, they were still the best of friends. But when Derek got married and severed all ties with Teagan, it killed something inside her. Because she has loved him for a very long time.
Now Derek is back in their home town and Teagan feels like she can not breathe. Can she tell him now how she felt about him all those years ago? Will he tell her how he feels now? What about Teagan's daughter's father, why is he not in the picture?
This story was not one I was prepared for. I cried, laughed, and loved it as I do with all of this author's books. The narrator's Savannah Peachwood, Teddy Hamilton were great too.

The male narrator is creepy

I’m sorry. I know that wasn’t the intent, but every time the male character was voiced, I felt like he was going to lock her in a dungeon.

Good story though.

Another awesome book!

I’ve read every book written by Corinne. I can say I’ve again been pleasantly pleased. All the way through the characters had me rooting for them. Not overly happy but did have a nice ending.
