I can't believe so many of my human friends have fallen in love with aliens. Sure, the Sea Sand warlords are strong and tall, and some might even say good-looking. I still think it's absolutely nuts to jump into a relationship with one of them. I will be avoiding all of that, thank you very much. That's what I keep trying to tell Galok, the arrogant, grinning warrior who refuses to leave me alone.

I can't figure out what his deal is. There are far more willing humans than me in our camp, and we aren't even supposed to be mates in the first place. No other woman has captured my attention like her. Yet, that attention seems to bother her. This does not deter me. Every hiss, kick, and furious look she throws in my direction only makes me fall harder, only makes me more confident in my decision to pursue her.

I absolutely loved this book and the narrator’s! This might be one of my favorite from this series! The characters are perfect black cat & golden retriever energy!

4th book of the Fated mates of the sea sand warlords series, written by Ursa Dax. In my opinion, this story is much better than book 3. It seemed to have a much more interesting and in-depth storyline. It’s about one of the human females kidnapped and brought from earth in secret and forced to help with the mission. A disastrous landing brings death to their door, and by a miracle they are rescued by the local warlords. The smallest of them is an extremely difficult female, named Kat. Galok, a local Warlord, has decided on his own that this is the female for him and is relentless. He doesn’t care that she isn’t his Fated Mate. He’s arrogant, funny and always grinning and is determined to win Kats affection, no matter how long it takes.
