If you are familiar with Ice Planet Barbarians, this is right alongside in type of story. The writing for Nailing the Alien is not quite the same caliber as IPB in my opinion, but the story was super enjoyable nonetheless. We have a strong human female hiding out from a bounty and a male Orc in need of mellowing out. Their pairing is cute but primarily focused on sex. LOTS of playful innuendos written into the story. You need to go into this story expecting something light hearted, silly, playful, smutty.

This was an audio read for me, and the narration was great!

I really loved this story. The narrators did a great job, especially the male narrator. His voice had me laughing out loud a few times.

Why does the male voice remind me of the Grinch? Lol

Ava’s Best Series since Brides of Crakair!

Woohoo! Finally! A departure from Ava’s predictable formula that she’s used in every single alien mates series until now! This entire series is a breath of fresh air! If you are on the fence about this first installment, I urge you to give the series a chance. I really enjoyed every single book, and each one will definitely be a repeat listen for me.

Ava delivers all the heartfelt romance and charm you need expect from her writing. But we also get an infusion of fresh creativity! The FMC in each book is embroiled in some kind of harrowing situation on earth, and the solution always comes in the form of an off planet placement with an intergalactic employment agency. We see each FMC finding true love on different planets with different species of aliens, so there’s a lot of interesting new world building. We also get a variety of hunky MMC’s with varying personalities.

The new narration team of Patrick Zeller and Hollie Jackson brings these stories to life. I’m really impressed at Patrick Zeller’s range. He gives each MMC a distinctly unique voice in each book.
