Only ok

I would give each book 2.5 stars. It took me 1.5 of the 3 books before the narrator‘s voice stopped grating on my nerves. I really disliked the narrator.

The stories were ok. The main characters were hard to relate to as they seemed weak and spineless throughout the individual books. I would have stopped listening to the stories but I have a thing where once I start a story, I finish a story. There is no need to relisten to these stories. I would spend my money/credit elsewhere.

Humboldt

I liked the other series better. The narrators voice was hard to get use to for me.

Christian syspense

This was a collection of three unique stories. The narrator did an excellent job bringing these stories to life.

Skip it. 3 duds and a nauseating narrator.

Three somewhat short stories, all with dragging plot lines and very watered-down glimpses of Christian elements.
One redeeming talent of the author would be notable character development in each story, although listening to the inner thoughts of the characters gets extremely repetitive.

The worst part: the narrator. If you ever see a book with this person narrating, save your time and money and move on. The basic narration is incredibly high-pitched and sing song, the men’s voices are grumbly and laughable, and the children’s voices all sound like someone mocking in a baby voice. I almost had to quit listening, but I was already invested.

Very Poor story line presentation

While I understand the need for the author to develop characters, the main character's angst was so drawn out and the narrator's whining as she read the thoughts of the main character grated on my nerves. I literally couldn't even finish the first chapter.
I am very disappointed as I enjoy Christain Suspense but this author totally turned me off. I can't wait until I am able to return this book and get my money back

Good story

I liked the story but the book was primarily the thinking process and the characters thinking process was EXTREMELY detailed and long winded, often taking away from the story as we wait patiently for the character to finish her thinking process to get on with the story… if you took out all the thoughts she has the story itself woulda been less than a chapter long… all three books were good, jsut wish their was more story and less inside the head of each main character

Alaskan Refuge...the power of Momma

Very well written and performed depiction of just how far and how much strength a momma has when it comes to her child.

Glimpse of heartwarming bravery in Alaska

Wonderful look into small town Alaska & a solid Christian church, giving a vivid feel for both the beauty & the ruggedness of the region. I appreciated the encounters these 3 brave women had with some very real & scary true to life circumstances, however I had some trouble with a few decision the heroines made (much like decisions made in scary movies) & the overly precociousness of a 5 year old, which at times led me away from the immersion I otherwise enjoyed experiencing.

Three short stories of faith

I was disappointed at the shortness of these three stories. Yes they have great Christian content but they lacked a good ending. Each one ended to quickly. Could of done with another three of four chapters in each story
