Captivating story line & heartfelt suspense

I’ve read a lot of Colleen’s books. And it’s hard to imagine that each one gets better but they do. This book was creative and captivating. It also had a great reminder to pay it forward with others. The animals of the sanctuary added an exotic touch that whisk you away to another land. This book is less predictable than previous works and had me stumped until the very last chapter. The narrator did a really great job of depicting the characters voices and bringing them alive. I highly recommend this book and I’ve already pre-ordered the sequel.

Another GOOD book by Colleen and Rick. The story moves along and keeps the reader’s/listener’s interest. Story combines a bit of romance, murder, and intrigue.

The story was captivating. Loved the faith content. The characters and story were quite memorable. Outstanding narration.

The plot line was very well written! I did figure out one of the “bad guys” early on, but the story kept me engaged in spite of that. The narration was good as well. I look forward to the next in the series and hope it isn’t long getting released!
