One day men will learn to appreciate Agatha (I hope!)

I simply can't stop reading and listening to this series! Agatha is the most endearing character because it is so easy to relate to her humanness and frailties. The plots keep you engaged as well as provide the backdrop for her evolving character. Well done.

The series is a delightful addiction.

The murder is always a surprise but the mystery not what compels read. Agatha Raisin had raised her status in business until she sold her company and retired early.
In her new life she is dropped into enough unknown that her learning social skills and romance she bumbles into and through mysteries until she solvesvthem usually by becoming a victim of confrontation.
Found myself laughing through every book in series.

Always a light-hearted romp!

Delightful characters brought skillfully to life by the masterful narration by Penelope Keith! Very enjoyable, and I like them just as much on the second or third reading.

Agatha at her best

As a sleuth, Agatha is at her best in this novel. James isn't around and that's a plus. Unfortunately, Charles is. I wish Agatha had differnet male friends.

Cheers for Agatha Raisin

I truly enjoy the Agatha Raisin series. The books always keep my guessing and are filled will humor. I work in the medical field and they are some very hard days to weeks, but I can always count on Agatha and her cast of friends and frenemies to lighten my evenings and commutes.

Bad recording

I love the story, but the recording would drop out and turn off without warning. Didn't even get through the first chapter before three incidents.

Agatha is a good simple escape

Fun series to escape to English country for a bit of friendship romance and murder - 100 percent formula series and the author uses same adjectives to describe just about everyone but it’s light and fun and I’m enjoying them and sadly as a women over fifty can relate to the vain and stubborn Agatha

Not Liking the "Loose" Agatha

The murder mystery was fine, except for the fact that Agatha regretted not having slept with the guy . . . I do like the vicar's wife quite a lot . . . but the last three books have Agatha in and out of bed like a jack rabbit . . . with different men :( YUCK . . . these books used to be a lot of fun . . .

Poor Agatha!

This is another action packed series of adventures with our beloved Agatha and Sir Charles in a lead role. Hairdressers will love this one. Whatever could happen to this amateur detective does! Lost love James appears at the very end in a surprising ending. A great listen for fans! Lots of intrigue. Enjoy!
