Fast paced very technical

All of it especially the fast pace and the detailed character development. Also the unique references to other books in the series

Excellent

I absolutely love Rachel Hatch! She is the female version of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher! I wish this book would have been a couple hours longer. I have one more to read and I will be caught up with all of the books with Rachel Hatch! So please get to writing… You are now one of my favorite authors added it to my list!

New voices distract.

The edition added male voice actors who sound like they are in a barrel. They sound so different from the narrator it is distracting. Don't do it again.

Great story; terrible production

While the story was great, the production was terrible and difficult to overcome. Unlike earlier books in the series, this one used different voices for different characters. Obviously, it was a cut-and-paste job of combining different voices recorded in different places with different instruments because it sounded so fake. Why the producers didn’t just use one voice as in earlier books in the series that received such high ratings for both the story and the performance is beyond me. They should listen to a truly professional production of different voices in an action-packed book by Mark Greaney called “Armored” to use it as a standard. If the issue is lack of sufficient funding for the production, then just stick to the single reader.

Always a Good Ride

The Rachel Hatch character always produces an intriguing, hang-on-tight storyline, and this audiobook is no exception to that. This woman has no "quit" in her, even when everyone else around her is throwing in the towel. I love her sense of purpose, her strength, and her honor. I love how she just puts her head down and pushes through to get the job done. I love that she manages to do all this without being some self-absorbed, smug ball-buster. In her mind, it's not about her- it's never about her.

There are some fascinating new characters in this tale that add extra depth to an already great novel. This story took a turn I didn't see coming with the return of an old love. He seems really interesting, but I'm still hoping Rachel and Dalton Savage have a future down the road. Yeah, still the hopeless romantic, even when reading about tough women.

If you're new to Rachel Hatch, no problem. The authors are great at keeping the reader up to date so that you can jump in at any point. I'm pretty sure they realize that once you meet this character you'll want to go back and catch the rest of her outrageously over-the-top but oh, so rewarding adventures.

Story may be good but narration is hokey

I'm usually a big LT Ryan fan and enjoyed books 1-6 in this series.

They changed narrators.

It's hard for me to concentrate on the plot when the narration switches from male to female with super over embellished voices.

It's just hokey. I prefer narrations with stronger more trained voice actors and this sounds like a high school play of over acting thespians jockeying for the spotlight.

I couldn't wait for this book to end. It was a painful listen.
