Jack Valentini isn't my type. Sexy, brooding cowboys are fine in the movies, but in real life, I prefer a suit and tie. Proper manners. A close shave. Loved this book!! Gives one hope even through tragedy. Could not put this book down.

Jack's Redemption

I enjoyed this book very much! The performers we're great! This was my first book by this author. She rig writes eloquently but with lot of grit. I'll be looking for more books by her.

I had not listened to a book narrated by Rob Howard and Renee Givens before this one. They were great!! As someone who listens to a lot of audiobooks I have come to appreciate how much more enjoyable a book is when the narrators are good.

Awwwww!! Truly a wonderful story that gave me the FEELS. This story had real life situations that were sad, funny, sexy and oh so loving....Great characters...Great narrators!!😊💟

Opposites Attract & All The Feels

The story about Margot and Jack is super sweet, very sexy, and whole lots of sassy. The two characters could not be more different from each other, but their chemistry was felt through every word, every page. And the roller coaster ride that Melanie Harlow puts the reader through is torture, but worth the ride.

"Her lips on mine felt like rain after a drought."

I think my favorite part is when Jack references Kahlil Gibran's "On Joy and Sorrow." He speaks to the reverse of Gibran's line also being true, and it made me stop my reading and really soak into the deep thoughts with Jack.

"The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain."
"...the reverse is also true. The greater your joy in something, the deeper your sorrow will be when it's gone."

Loved the narrators!! So many feels in this story. I totally recommend picking it up for a good read.
