Heartwarming and Hilarious

I love how unpretentious and relatable this book is. Listening to the author relate unexpected tales of his life is both heartwarming and funny. The support from his mother, the desire to help others, the love of celebrity memoirs, and the comfort of found family are all things that readers can relate to in the midst of his stories about brushes with fame. I thoroughly enjoyed this listen.

What a great book anyone anywhere should read this

I already knew that, the Jeff Hillers voice was going to be what made this book for me but what I didn't know was, I would spend my drive to and from work every day for a week laughing, crying and smirking, while hearing all about his life growing up and his overnight success!
This book is a touching tribute to a life.Well lived as well as a heartwarming story of life in showbiz.
I would recommend this book to fans of somebody. Somewhere, but also folks who have never seen this show, I'd just like to hear about other people's lives.

I picked this book because I loved the author in the hilarious and touching HBO show, “Somebody, Somewhere”. Haven’t seen it yet? Well, do yourself a favor and watch it. You can thank me later. This book is likely as close as any of us will come to being IRL friends with this lovely, clever and talented man. Let him show you a peek into the life of a working-but-not-super-famous actor, and embroil you in his life’s ups and downs - usually hilarious and always recognizable. Loved this one, and I will listen again!

Absolutely delightful, highly recommend this wonderful story, performance and overall experience. Jeff Hiller is an incredible writer and narrator, taking you on a journey through his career and experiences, with tenderness and laughter.

I love Jeff Hiller! Entertaining and gave me all the feels

I was introduced to Jeff in his HBO show, Somebody, Somewhere. I fell in love with his character and longed to be a member of the friend group portrayed on the show. Hearing his story and being able to hear his giggle again was a treat. I love the way he read his story as well. His perseverance in his career is an inspiration to all! I love to see someone who refuses to quit, get their day in the spotlight and I wish him continued success! Love you Jeff!
