In a dangerous time before her own...a dangerous attraction. Amelie Besson is on the cusp of attaining the life she’s dreamed of—until she finds herself stuck in pre-war France, fifty years before her time. The country is about to be under German rule, but her most immediate problem is Henri Durand, the arrogant and infuriatingly handsome vineyard owner upon whom her survival depends.
The fiercely protective Henri challenges everything Amelie holds true—particularly her hatred of the gift that brought her there in the first place. As the bond between them grows, Amelie will begin to wonder if the life she’s returning to is actually the one she wants, and if her connection to Henri might be strong enough to surmount any obstacle…even time itself.

Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East were phenomenal in audio book. It was beautiful, raw, filled with emotion and desire. Amelie and Henri are the perfect couple that is destined to be with one another without disregard of what the time traveling may do to the future and the past. They banter and try to resist one another, but what they want may be stronger than anyone can imagine. The writing was smooth and flawless and the narration was perfection. Absolutely amazing series.
Destined to be together regardless of the time.

Time travel romance that gives Outlander vibes. It was an intriguing read I have never a story like this before the concept caught my attention. Watching it is one thing but listening without seeing the characters was different. Henri was not my fav in the beginning and his sister towards the end annoyed me which brings me to what happened leading to the cliffhanger
Intriguing storyline

How can you not fall in love with Elizabeth’s beautiful storytelling? How can you not just sit there and cry because of her words and her characters being so amazing, that they bring out every emotion in you? It’s literally impossible.
This book, and this series is one that a.) you don’t want to miss out on, and b.) you NEED to listen to the audiobooks. Samantha Brentmoor gives her all into every book she narrates, and these are no exception. She is so emotive and makes her characters feel so tangible. It’s truly amazing to hear. Shane East narrates in duet with her in this, and let me tell you, that man made the perfect Henri. His performance was out of this world good. I can’t recommend the audios enough, I mean it with every breath in my lungs.
Sarah (Amelie) and Henri. 🥹
They have my whole heart, and their story is so beautiful, I can’t wait to see how it all concludes in Across Eternity. I just don’t want to leave this world, and these characters.. 🥲
Please read this series. Please listen to this series. Nothing could be more worth your time. 🥰

I don’t really read time travel novels, so this was a change for me, and I really enjoyed it.
Amelie found herself in France, a time before war struck. She was meant to save a woman, Marie, and she ended up meeting Marie’s brother, Henri.
The two of them clashed a lot, with Henri just wanting to protect his sister from any and all danger. But they had such great banter and so. much. chemistry.
There was an air of mystery and suspense as well, because something was going on, but Amelie didn’t exactly know what it was.
This ends on a cliffhanger, and I cannot wait for the next book to see what happens next.
Duet narration:
Samantha Brentmoor is one of my favorite narrators, and she did a phenomenal job as not only Amelie, but Marie as well. Her French accent? So good. I often forgot it was just her narrating and not two narrators. Shane East did a fantastic job as well. He had a great accent, and he was perfect for the voice of Henri.
