THIS WAS SOOOO GOOD!!!!

This book was such a great one to listen to. From beginning to end, it was such a rollercoaster ride of an adventure!!! I love how it started with Serene finding a photo from 1912 and just wanting to know the story behind it to getting stuck in 1912 Charleston, South Carolina and having a great enemies to lovers romance that just tugs at your heartstrings…

This was one of my first reads from Calia & it won’t be the last!!! If your a lover of historical romance with amazing characters, good banter, an epic love story with time travel added to the mix, you’ll love it. To me, It’s a beautiful mix of Outlander meets After….

Timeless captivating book!!

This book is one of my all time favorites. I’m so happy I came across it on audible!! The story is woven so perfectly and the descriptions of 18th century Charleston make me want to go back in time!!

At one point in this series Selene goes to the Lacroix house in real time and the house she lived at (18th century) is now in ruins which was so devastating because the story pulls you into the time period that much. It is a historical romance at heart but such a good book all round!! The performance was great as well but I do wish the voices were a bit younger, as others have mentioned.

I have a long list of books I enjoy but it’s rare to find one that’s truly impactful. This is one I would read again and again. I would recommend this book!!

Loved every part

Why doesn’t this have more reads? The story line, the narratives, the epilogue, are better than other more popular series I’ve read.
The only thing to caution is some parts are very adult explicit. Some may not like it. I would be good either way. It’s could have been written without certain words, using more PC wording. But if you compare it to most movies now days, it still had less.
I wouldn’t call it erotica, because there are only 3 scenes like that.

t narration, great premise but I had two problems I could not get past.
1) a woman who sells antiques and is a history buff absolutely refuses to Immerse herself into the culture, the time and place and clothes she now find herself. She acts like a total idiot and it annoying
2)the use of “d*ck and p*ssy” in the sex scenes was terribly cringy.

Hooked

I was so hooked to this listen I didn’t want to stop. I love time travel books and this was a really good one. All I can say is I hope this isn’t the end for Serene and (spelling will be off) Etíen. I know there is a trilogy here and I’m hoping they are not stand alone books.

Loved the whole 6-book Series!

Surviving Time through Belgrave Dynasty is so enjoyable! My absolute favorite is the beginning of the series! Narrator’s are very good with great mix male with Mr. Lloyd as Étienne. Would love to see this series in a movie. Thank you Ms. Read - delightful, please continue the Belgrave story!

Great Storyline

I loved this book! The entire story was amazing and the narration by the authors was wonderful. They did an excellent job making the story realistic. Cant wait to listen to the next one.

I’ve been waiting for these books to go to audio and they didn’t disappoint. The narrators did an amazing job bringing this book to life. I can’t wait for the other ones!

Romance and time travel… love

The Cliff hanger…. It’s something unexpected and at the same time book two will have to bring or all together enough to make the reader want to go on to book three
