I want some Ace!

I immediately fell for Ace, the main male character, and he kept me through the whole book! The only annoying part was all the hashtags throughout the book.

Audra Cook did a good job with narration; she has the voice for different parts.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Great Read

Ace in the Hole (City Meets Country #4) by Mysti Parker and M.J. Post was a great read. Ace Montgomery left his job in law enforcement and now does private security. Sailor has hired Ace as a bouncer in her bar. The Hole has a reputation of being a place that draws troublemakers. I loved reading Ace and Sailor's story. I can't wait to read more by Mysti Parker and M.J. Post.

Great Chemistry

All the books I've read in this series have one thing in common, great characters and great chemistry between the lead female and lead male characters.

Sailor is probably my least favorite lead female in this series, I found her reactions a bit over the top at times, but I have seem people react more extremely in less extreme situations so it's not over dramatized, it's just not within my normal.

The narration is well done again, the delivery is smooth and flowing and the character voices are clear and distinct.

In this book sparks fly between ACE and Sailor, I loved the way that they interact. The tension between them builds naturally over the course of the book and I didn't want to stop listening.

Gotta like Ace!

For the most part, this was a good book. Nice story, good characters and good narration too. My biggest problem with this book was all the "hashtag" this and "hashtag" that. It didn't fit in with the story and I found it to be annoying and distracting. I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.

hot security guy & sexy bar owner...combustible!

Ace Montgomery quit his job as a LEO after one too many injuries on the job. Now Ace owns his security company and has accepted a job to analyze and secure a NYC bar that seems to have run into a rash of recent problems. Sailor has inherited the bar from her no-good, sleazy business man father upon his death and is burning through her money trying to run the place. Recently they have had a series of incidents that seem to be staged...bar fights, etc...that may be geared to running Sailor out of business. In rides Ace to the rescue...literally...on his bike. As Ace begins his investigation, he fights the growing attraction to Sailor and vice versa. Will they be able to work together to uncover who is behind trying to put Sailor out of business while fighting the chemistry between them? This was a quick read/listen with some steamy moments but lots of 'bad guy' action as well. Love the series!
