Just Wonderful!

Absolute Zero by Ireland Gill and narrated by Sarah Stevens is the second book in The Soldiers of Light Chronicles. Evika finally gets to work with her guardian angel, Hayden. She learns what her gift is, and how to control it. She gets to meet other angels and starts her work to save the souls being kept away from salvation. We are left with one crazy cliffhanger ending.
Would I listen to this book again? Yes
Would I recommend this book to others? Yes
Even though it's a different narrator from the first book, a great job was done by Ms. Stevens bringing the story to life. This is another great story by Ireland Gill.

Great book!!

The author doesn’t disappoint. I really enjoyed the storyline, the characters and the narrator did a great job as well. Overall entertaining and interesting from beginning to the end. I recommend and hope you will enjoy as much as I did. I can’t wait for the next book.

Absolute Zero

This the second book in the series. It picks up right where Negative Zero ends. This has a slow build in the romance. I really enjoyed this book. Interested to see what will happen next.

Good!

Picking up where we left off this book like the first doesn't disappoint. The characters grew throughout this book. I have to say I love Luca, he's one of my favorites. This is such a unique story and has kept me intrigued from the start. The narrator does an amazing job! Good series!

The story continues to amaze!

I loved the new aspect of things, the plot twists and betrails, the action (although not as fast paced as I liked) and the romance! I enjoyed this book as much as the previous one! The narrator is a different one from the narrator of the first book. I usually dont like a change of narrator mid series but the story was so good I honestly didn't mind it that much! This narrator was good at bringing the story to life so that was also part of the reason I didn't mind the change! OveraI it was really good and I can't wait for the third book!!!

Action and romance and plot twists!

I love that this series has a nice mix of action and moments where we just get to focus on the romance. It's a really good balance and I love that we get to see their relationship bloom without the distraction of everything else. I also enjoyed the twists and turns that happen in this book. Just when you think you have it figured out, you're blind-sided in the best way! It kept me engaged and listening to "just one more chapter" when I really needed to sleep or work on my to-do list.

As for the narration, I really did like this narrator. The only thing that brought it down to a three star was the audio quality. Sarah does a great job and I prefer her over the last narrator, but it is a shame that her talents were clouded by the lack of quality. Still a nice listen though, despite that! She does a great job bringing the characters to life.

gets better

This story is one that gets better as you listen. At first the narrator sounded like a computer but she eased into the different characters fairly well as it progressed. Most of the story was focused on the slow burn romance than any other plot line, but I actually didnt mind that. Hayden sounds like a dream. The main female matures a little more in this book, she is more contemplative even though she still acts rashly. But the ending.....wow! If i was given all the time in the world to predict that twist I would have never come up with it. I am looking forward to hearing how the new chatacter fits in and where the story goes next.
