Publisher's Summary

Does power truly corrupt? Or attract the already corrupted?

Three months since his debut, Aegis, aka Hugo Malalou, is becoming one of America’s most popular superheroes. But between protecting the city of San Miguel, surviving high school and maintaining some degree of a social life - he’s stretched very thin.

Worse, monstrous new threats and old enemies attack Aegis from all corners. Can he rise to the challenge? Or will the Shield of Justice be broken?

On the other side of the country, Greyson Hirsch remains committed to destroying this new generation of heroes. And his latest target, a young team of idealistic crusaders, is blind to the storm hurtling their way. All the while, Greyson’s obsession with a certain superhero from San Miguel deepens.

Aegis and Greyson’s paths are on a collision course that will alter the fate of the world. Choose your side....

This novel contains swear words, sea monsters, and nail-biting superhero action.

Good story and great pacing throughout

If you’ve made it this far into the series, you’ll surely enjoy this book. Although a bit juvenile at times, pacing is very good and the characters are continuing to grow. If you like this genre, you’ll enjoy this series

When does the next installment come out?! I went to the Podium and C.C. Ekeke websites! No news on either! This series has been my favorite Superhero series to date! Thank you!

Main character is not well written in my opinion.

While the surrounding characters are amazing well developed, with evidence of growth; in my opinion the main character and villain are terrible. Though I want the hero to succeed for the sake of the story. He comes off as whiny brat, who is angry at people for the same things he does throughout 6 books. The same can be said for the main villain. Love everyone else and the world that has been created by the author.

2 out of 3...

2 of the 3 voice actors are great. The 3rd not so much. Seems to be trying way to hard. You can hear the extra in every character and keeps portraying them differently from the other 2.

Good story

My only complaint is for the entire series is the different voice’s for same people when there being done by the 3 narratives. Otherwise I like the the series.

Narration

All they had to do was let the female voice over do female characters, the males do the males, sound effects, a little mood music and it would have been a perfect 10/10. I give it an 8.0

Each Book is better than the last

Maybe I'm just more invested in the story, but I feel like the quality of the writing and character development has improved with each book. I pre-ordered the next one already!

Pretty damn good!

I gave the first book in this series a knee jerk bad review. I don’t see a way to go back and change it. I was completely wrong. This series is really good! Check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Liked the start of this series but…

It really has spiraled into a PG teen social drama. I don’t know if the author is just stuck on the teen sex fantasy thing or what, but it’s just tedious.
