I enjoyed listening to this production very much.

I love how everything is introduced before the primary book itself starts! I was skeptical when hearing the speed at which the information was read in the beginning, but once chapter one came about, it was much more understandable. And the dietary recommendations are unique and interesting.

This was a great book and it had a lot of info.

There was also a lack of recipe ideas and non-scientific dietary info. For example, the information from the nutritionist doesn’t do me well when I am not acquainted with nutrition to start. All the information on ADHD was pretty great and reliable, though!

Informative

It wasn’t until the end of chapter 3 that diet prevailed. Then there was only one chapter on diet specifically. I found the book very informative and legitimate, but I was hoping for more information than what was mentioned.

a lot of surface info.

I learned a lot, but found it hard to understand. The hour book took 4+ hours with the research I had to do outside of the book. For a book that introduces a bunch of concepts and ideas it’s good, but I bout the audiobook because I didn’t have much time for independent research on the topic. There is a lot of surface info though.

It needs some improvement.

I bought this book not looking for information on ADHD, as I know I have it and have had the diagnosis since elementary school. Over half the book just discussed ADHD without any dietary information mentioned until later chapters. Maybe if someone was confused on what ADHD was, it would be a better to read this book. But for someone who already knows all about it, it could have been better.

With inclusive list of possible treatments.

I can’t say I’m overly impressed with this book for a few reasons. First, it is largely concerned with diagnosing, which is not something that can be self-diagnosed. Seeing a doctor if you wonder about your health is the first thing that should be done—not self-diagnostics. Also, there is simply not much in the way of ADHD dietary information. I was expecting the entire book to be comprised of that information, but I was wrong. If you want a book all about ADHD with an inclusive list of possible treatment ideas, this is for you. If you want strictly dietary ideas, I do not recommend.

Pretty good.

Until this book, I wasn’t aware so many things can influence mental illnesses in food. I wish there were more food examples or nutrition info in this book, though. There was so much on ADHD, but there was only a chapter on the nutrition itself, which was a bit disappointing. The rest of the information made up for it though.

It has served its purpose.

This book focuses on a lot of interesting research by Dr. Natasha McBride. I have looked into her research over the years and she has never disappointed. This book plays a lot on both that and the condition of ADHD itself. The story was told at a pace to ensure comprehension.

Decent Book

This book was packed full of helpful information about ADHD, causes, symptoms, characteristics, treatments, etc. I feel like I got a lot of insight on the illness itself, but I must question the amount of dietary information I heard in this book. Other than very brief mentions and an introduction on the researcher who developed the dietary system, there was only one chapter of the dietary side of ADHD and how it influences the illness. While this was quite insightful and very informative, I expected a book full of dietary recommendations (as that is the title and how it appears). Other than the lack of actual dietary information, this book on ADHD is very good!
