Publisher's Summary

"A" is for ache. "C" is for choice. "H" is for his. "E" is for Everly.

I have always gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to my personal life. Drug-addicted mother, obsessive stepfather, shitty upbringing, and one soul-shattering, heart-wrenching relationship. But everything changed when I met Alec Prescott.

I couldn’t stand the cocky hotshot lawyer at first, but after assisting him on one case, my opinion changed drastically. He became the beginning I so desperately needed, even if romantic relations at work are completely forbidden.

Unfortunately, falling in love with a coworker is the least of my problems. Funny thing about the past, it’s never truly far away. No matter how fast you run from it or how hard you try to suppress it, it’s there, lingering like a fog, blinding your vision, impacting your decisions, affecting your life.

That’s where Tage Andrews comes in. He’s the heartache I can never outrun. The man who saved me from my past all while pillaging my emotions. I want to avoid reliving it - avoid him - but he’s always there, lingering like a fog, blinding my vision, impacting my decisions, affecting my life.

This is my paradoxical predicament. Two men. One choice. Inevitable heartbreak.

A.C.H.E. is an angsty, fast-paced romantic suspense with ménage themes. Listener discretion is advised.

I’M ABSOLUTELY ACHING FOR MORE

For me, A. is for how ADDICTIVE this story was.. C. is for the CHEMISTRY that sizzled between them.. H. is for the HEARTACHE I was left with after the blood and bullets settled.. and E. is for the EMOTIONS that stirred, that blossomed, that bubbled, that burst and bled throughout this all too short listen. It was sweet, it was super hot, it was all kinds of good as a first love turned into a lost love and a new love turned into a forever love.. but what happened in the space in-between was unconditional love. It’s a well narrated love story, it’s a scorching ménage, it’s a mystery suspense as good vs. evil, it’s a triumph and a tragedy and it’s told from three people’s POV.

Worth a credit? Yes I loved it.. even if it didn’t end the way I was hoping.. but I guess it’s those books with that one two sucker punch that are always so unforgettable.. and, hint hint, it leaves a wide open space just crying out (along with me) for a follow-up book. So, please Ms. Never.. I beg you to never say never.. make your fans very happy with a second book about you know who.

The ending gave me an ACHE!! Ouch!

Have you ever listened to a book that was coming together just fine with it's ups and downs... and you were loving it... and then it ends with the most abrupt stupid ending???? This one is it. If I could go back, I would not have listened to this book. The ending takes away from everything great about this book. It's that bad.

Parts of this book are so unrealistic and it's hard to get into it. i.e. The way the three get together!!! Critical thing in the book that happens within minutes. Should have spent more time in this decision.

I never understood what was between Tage and Alec? Nothing was mentioned. Strange. So much for a ménage. Too much unsaid and underdeveloped.

The performance is awesome. Job well done.

I gather there will be a follow up to this book as most things were left unresolved. The book leaves me wanting more but the ending was so bad that I don't think I'll come back for part 2 should there be one. Can't undo what happened in the end.

I have enjoyed M. Never's books and highly recommend them: just not this one.

Listen at your own risk.

Worth more than 5 stars

M. Never is absolutely awesome. Everly and Alec, Everly and Tage...become Tage, Everly and Alec. i wantedI more of this story, it left me with an ACHE. It even gives you the reference to Ghostface Killer not to the book but as a reference to one of the characters. I would have liked the ending to slightly different but at the same time the ending was inevitable. I just loved everything about this book. I've come to expect nothing but great reading when select a book from M.Never. You will not be disappointed.

♥️I’m left A.C.H.E....ing💔 for MORE‼️

A= alluring
C= characters (in a)
H= hurricane (of)
E= eroticism (and intrigue)

FIVE “hell yah” ⭐️’s for this listen!
This book was addictive from chapter One until the End! It reels you in and sinks in the hooks, keeps you on the line of suspense, then a great white shark comes along biting your heart as it shakes your emotions all over the place. Now exhausted, emotionally spent & suspended in a haze.. an erotic and sexy fantasy u may have never given thought too, leaves you pleasantly & blissfully exhausted. Once you’ve regained your senses the suspense returns & by the end you are emotionally tortured...but in a good way! LMAO!
Loved it; loved the story, loved the characters, and loved the fantasy ⚡️
What I didn’t like? It ended, way too soon 😕

M. Never NEVER disappoints

Dumb story, unrealized characters, horrid ending

This one was just bad. The story had so many holes it was pointless. The characters were as compelling as paper cutouts and the premise was laughable. By the end it wasn’t surprising when one of the main characters did a complete 180 and decided against everything he spent the beginning of the book fighting for. Equally unsurprising, the other characters just shrugged and went on their merry way. The author was obviously out of material and trying to fill a quota of some kind. Lastly, BIG pet peeve of mine, if you are going to use a commonly known colloquialism should know what it means and use it correctly. The same is true for big words. If you don’t know what they mean then you should not use them in your writing. The best I can say is that this one distracted me while I spent an afternoon cleaning the house.

Don't waste your time

In all honesty, I always avoid books with love triangles because I think they're stupid, and unfortunately, I realized too late that this book was based on that. Anyway, I didn't much like this book from the beginning. Everything just moved too fast for me. The characters weren't developed well enough and the story had too many holes. I didn't how Alec was first presented as a cold, calculating asshole but suddenly out of nowhere, he is sweet and caring? The intimate scenes were lame. And then Everly has sex with Tage when she's sleeping with Alec. Wtf is up with that. I'm official done with this author. I can never connect with the characters and I always end up hating the story plots.

It is heart ache-ing

This story clips right along and stays centralized on the three main characters. There is not much atmosphere behind them or major supportive roles. The cities they are in, the buildings, the people around them even those in direct conversation are almost inconsequential. Normally I’m a stickler about details and I want a lively atmo and good supportive characters but not this time. The central focus just seemed to shorten the reading time as only the most important details where given. My mind got to create much of the space around them along the way. Now on to the characters. Ever is and odd character not easily fit into any type. She’s not super BA nor is she weak she’s just a product of her life and struggling. She’s had a strange and hard life and is desperately trying to have a normal one, but she’s guarded and a bit reclusive. Alec was the most surprising how he just rolled with the punches was so easy to be loving and accepting. He was quite and a jerk so that was a surprise. But Tage, my heart hurt for him most. Some childhoods do permanently shape the future of a person and Tage’s life as an operative and an adrenaline junkie was put into motion when he was a preteen. I’m unsure how I feel about this story. Except that my feelings aren’t negative. As threesome storylines go this was ‘mostly’ believable. It was well written and edited. The audio was performed well and good quality. I guess I feel a bit mixed up ... both sad and happy ... left wanting there to be more ... wanting things to happen differently. But I did enjoy the story and I will read this again and look into other works from this author.

“I will ache for eternity..”

The story was pretty decent, albeit a little all over the place at times due to some parts of the book being very rushed. Didn’t really get why two men would be that infatuated with a woman like Everly - for me, she was a bit lacking in personality. I was actually going to give the story 2stars, but then came the epilogue! Oh how my heart hurt for him.. for them. So achingly beautiful and heartbreaking. So that’s what bumped it up to 3stars for me. All the narrators did a good job.
