Excellent story, well read.

I enjoyed this book. It was interesting how the author wove in the effects of climate change into a good mystery story.

Great exploration of our potential future

Gripping story and great narration - I flew through it. Highly recommended as is the Lewis trilogy

A winter grave

Not his best novel. I’ve enjoyed so many others. The reader is very good, wish the story had been better.

Is it poor sci Fi? Was author commissioned every time he wrote Northface? Not his best

My second read by May

I usually am not interested in these types of novels. I'm typically a horror fan. But from the first book of his I read "Coffin Road", I knew this was an author I would love. I ordered 3 more of his books from The Lewis Trilogy. very anxious to read them. riveting, suspenseful, and very difficult to put down. Highly Recommend this book.

Excellent detail and overall plot

A novel set in the future yet not excessively dystopian. Believable characters and plot elements.

Introspective and interesting

I’m enjoying this author very much, and the narrator is excellent. The writing is introspective and personal, much more about the people and the relationships than the action, though those scenes are well done. Good read.

Future is coming

The twists and turns in this novel were great an kept me locked on. It is not too futuristic that it becomes irrelevant.

Too political

The writing was excellent, as usual, and the reader was great. However, I did not like the author basing his story on his political agenda. It was simply not necessary.

Blend of sci-fi and Scottish mystery

Imaginative, creative rendering . Lead detective character tortured by his past and present in the context of a climate change who dun it. Well narrated. Melodrama mixed with science which is not so implausible. You will root for Cameron Brody, the everyman, and hope for ourselves as politicians live down to expectations and threaten our future.
