But narrowing down these suspects could leave even Phyllida's favorite fictional detective, M. Poirot, twirling his mustache in frustration.

Once again, this was a great read and the story is very engaging and enjoyable. Great series!!!

Nice twist!

I recently stumbled upon this new series and found this book to be an enjoyable read. The plot was good, I like the character development so far, and I enjoy how the storyline includes Agatha Christie, whom I greatly admire. I like the determination and independence of the heroine. However, after reading books one and two back to back; I do find that she puts herself in unnecessary danger needlessly. And the solutions for getting herself out of danger are just too convenient or circumspect in my opinion. The twist at the end was a redeeming qualify. I will continue to read the series to see how the characters continue to develop.

Unexpected

I liked the ending. I thought I had it the whole time, I was wrong.

A fun listen

The author has written a cosy, classic mystery set in a country house. The narrator brought the characters to life and I’m looking forward to listening/reading this series. Well done and would recommend.

Surprise Murderer

This story has unexpected twists, and I love how we continue to learn about the main characters. She does an excellent job revealing new information to set up her next book as well!
