Charming, Heartwarming, and Leaves You Wanting More

This was such a sweet and delightful listen! The narrator did a wonderful job bringing the story to life. My only disappointment was that it’s about half the length of the other three titles—I just wanted to spend more time in this happy little world on the Devonshire Coast.

I truly hope the author writes another book about Georgie’s crush, so we can see all five sisters happily married and enjoying their growing families. 💛

This series is a gem—kind, clean, and full of charm, with a Jane Austen–like touch. Highly recommend to women who love wholesome, heartwarming love stories!

A visit to Sea View

The amazing performance again took me back to the world of Sea View. The performance was well done as the many voices are singularly their own. This allows the listener to feel as thought each character is alive with depth. Fantastic!

All the love for this charming, heartwarming, romantic story! I’ve adored the On Devonshire Shores series & couldn’t wait to read Sarah’s story! In A Sea View Christmas, Julie Klassen brilliantly delivers a lovely, touching finale to this beloved series with all the romance, Christmas cheer, & delightful traditions. If you’re a fan of Little Women or Jane Austen, you’ll love spending time with the Summers family in all their enchanting escapades.

After the handsome Scottish widower Callum Henshaw & his daughter returned to Scotland, Sarah Summers wondered if she would ever see him again. As the practical, selfless, hardworking sister in the Summers family, she doesn’t think she has the luxury of falling in love & believes her family wouldn’t survive without her help & care. When an opportunity to visit Scotland arrives, she hopes she might see Callum again. But, when she visits his home, he isn’t there & she receives a rather less than warm welcome from his sister-in-law who suggests Callum might have moved on.

Returning home disappointed, she promises her youngest sister Georgiana that unlike their dreary Christmas last year, this year they’ll make it a Christmas to remember with all the dancing, music, delicious food, games, & more. When unexpected visitors arrive, Sarah’s wish for a second chance at love might just come true, if, she’s brave enough to grab happiness when it’s presented to her.

Seventeen year old Georgiana also gets her own Christmas wish. Not only does she enjoy all the fun Christmas festivities, but she gets to share them with the dashing Collin Hutton, her sister’s handsome brother-in-law who’s visiting for Christmas. Collin & Georgiana find joy in playing matchmaker, helping those less fortunate, & participating in all the joyous Christmas traditions.

I adored this story so much! It was such a joy to read. I found myself torn between flying through the pages & wanting to slow down & relish each one. Sarah’s & Callum’s relationship is fraught with as Collin says “will they or won’t they.” I loved seeing their romance blossom & them both finding a second chance at love. Sarah’s so practical & I enjoyed seeing her let go & have fun participating in all the Christmas activities. Callum’s a swoon-worthy hero who brings all that Scottish charm & wit. I enjoyed seeing him court Sarah as well as grow closer to his stepdaughter. I also loved seeing Georgiana mature & find a cheerful potential suitor in Collin.

The audiobook was fantastic! I loved the narrator & how she brought each character to life. I especially loved hearing that delightful Scottish brogue.

Highest of recommendations for this delightful Christmas Regency! While I’m so sad to see this series end, I can’t wait to reread & enjoy it all over again. I received an advanced copy from the author & publisher, but also purchase the audiobook version. All opinions are completely my own & provided voluntarily.
