Publisher's Summary

Five years ago, Kayla Hopper and Prince Arkin Aubosson of Sigotta were patients, along with their spouses, at the same fertility clinic. She is now divorced, and the prince is a widower. A mix-up comes to light, revealing he is the father of her twins. Kayla suggests the only sensible option, a marriage of convenience, but wonders if she can maintain a strictly platonic relationship with the handsome prince, who is still mourning his first wife. Being the wife of the prince is even harder than trying not to fall in love with him when Kayla becomes the target of kidnappers trying to remove her from the royal family permanently.

Narration was very bad!

The story and writing was very good. Unfortunately, the narrator was horrible. I'm not sure if this was the first narration she has ever done but it was not smooth. She had to reread a lot, but it was not edited out of the narration. It was like they didn't listen to it before they started selling the audio.

Good story marred by poor read

I liked the story and characters a lot. But the narration was really poor. There were multiple glitches which I've never heard in an audible title before.
Shame.

Worst narration ever!!

This book was absolutely terrible. The narration was awful with multiple starts and monotone reading. Don’t waste your time or money like I did.

royally unprofessional

Both author and narrator alike should be embarrassed to have released this title. The story was unrealistic yet the characters were charming. The story may have been able to be pulled off except for the sloppy performance given by the narrator. I understand that mistakes happen. Why couldn’t they correct them before release.

Boo to the narration

Liked the story, however the narrator was horrible. She stumbled over words, reread when mistakes were made, and other sounds could be heard.
Why wasn’t this edited first?

Written for young adults.

Very poor audio editing. Many places where the same phase is repeated several times. The narrator has a pleasant voice, but she needs more practice.
The story was a very predictable sweet fairytale.

Good story, awful narration

When Kayla and Nolan came to the realization that they couldn't have children together, they made the decision to use a sperm donor. Little did Kayla know that the decision would soon not sit well with her husband, leading to divorce and life as struggling single mom. Prince Aubosson, trying to insure that his samples provided for his now deceased wife, was in no way prepared to be informed that he fathered Kayla's twins. Having no heir to his throne, the Prince demands the children from Kayla, leading them to a marriage of inconvenience. Nolan was hoping that Kayla would simple give the kids to the Prince, so they can rekindle their relationship and later adopt children of their own, parts with Kayla on sour terms.

This story was cute, engaging the main characters into an sweet and understanding marriage. Their relationship develops as neither expects it to. Almost the entire royal family accepts Kayla and the twins, the Prince's brother does not. Kayla nor the Prince is prepared for the scandal that is about to put her life and the throne at risk.

The narrator's voice was the worst part of this book. She was borderline monotone, she couldn't pronounce words at times, long pauses where she got stumbled, and parts that she repeated (obviously losing her place). If i could have give the performance a no star or a quarter star for effort, I would have.

Great story

I loved the story, but I was disappointed by the amount of errors/restarts to the story telling.
