Publisher's summary

In a desperate fight for survival....

...The fate of Burning Hollow hangs in the balance.

Can East Tennessee save itself from those who wish to enslave it?

Burning Hollow's security team has made a fatal mistake, bringing the enemy right to their doorstep. With people in the holler dying and resources running out, the surviving citizens of East Tennessee must band together and rise up against a new ruthless scourge, or risk losing everything they hold dear.

Backed into a corner, the Banks family and the rest of the boys from the holler join forces with a powerful alliance of Boyds Creek Resistance fighters to launch a daring assault on the Rockford work camp. While the local forces are determined to put an end to the enemy's reign of terror once and for all, the enemy has ferocious plans of their own.

The apocalypse is now the new norm, and the battles in the holler are far from over. As Ruth and Chloe struggle to protect the farm and their precious harvest, and fend off dangerous invaders lurking in the shadows, they are forced to confront a terrifying hunting season like no other—the hunting of Americans by foreign forces. With every passing moment, the stakes for survival grow higher and the danger more intense.

Get ready for one last adrenaline-fueled ride through the heart of a post-apocalyptic world, as Ryan Schow delivers another gripping installment in the Sunset on America series. This number one Post-Apocalyptic Fiction Author and USA Today best-selling author will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end!

*This post-apocalyptic survival series contains PG language, but has no explicit sex scenes, plagues, or zombies. It does, however, contain violence similar to that of a PG-13 action and adventure film. Perfect for fans of Jack Hunt, Franklin Horton, Kyla Stone, Boyd Craven, and Bobby Akart. Suitable for ages 13 and up.

FEEL LIKE FAMILY

Another fantastic book by Ryan Schow. I love this series. I feel like I am part of the family. I have laughed and cried with them; I have felt their pain and anger. I wish it would never end. Hoping for book 7! Keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for the great narration too Mr P.

Excellent as usual

Great story. How about something based in Idaho for the next one? Or something in the PNW ish area? Great work.

Another great story and narration. Characters continue to develop and …. Well…. I don’t want to spoil anything so I’ll keep some to myself. Keep them coming, and maybe a baby Catrick????

A family making it through the nightmares.

I liked the family struggles that they were able to make it through! It had a little humor, that really helped!

The Valor of Patriots

This is the stunning end to another boldly written series depicting the courage of individuals required to take back their country from the edge of annihilation. I fell in love with all the characters in and around the "holler". As they confronted the enemy, I cheered them on, applauding their victories and grieving their losses. If you have not listened to Population Zero I urge you to do so as our heroes often refer to events and characters from that series even administering the justice that a particularly hideous villain escaped therein. This series is NOT for the faint of heart. Language and action is brutal. Justice is delivered with an 'any means necessary' attitude and a thirst for vengeance. And the action never stops which I feel is the hallmark you can expect in any of Ryan Schow's tales of the apocalypse. Coupled with the narration by Kevin Pierce, it is truly a win, win, win. This is a series I know that I will listen to often.

Meow.

While this listener is bummed that the series has ended, what a freaking ending it is.
Roller coaster of emotions and character losses but a damn good series. Couldn’t ask for a better way for it to end.
