A true gothic story

The story is definitely a gothic one and it’s really good. There are some time jumps that leave some gaps. I really enjoyed the story and the narration.

Dreary & Brilliant

A fantastic Southern Gothic/Creole Ghost Story that is written exquisitely and read with the utmost of eloquence.

Great Story!

I really enjoyed the story. From the very start, I was drawn to the characters and felt their emotions as if I was in the story myself. The narration was great. The different voices and accents really aided in following the characters. I look forward to reading or listening to the next book in the series.

Dark & Dreary

Twins, brother and sister, born out of wedlock and under other terrible conditions, have a very hard life. Then it gets worse, and then it gets worse. This is a long and sad tale of family secrets, misunderstandings, and some paranormal misadventures, There are a lot of twists and turns in the plot, but most are in a downward spiral. I did feel for the characters and their tragic lives, and I'm glad there was some positive results. Won't be taking on the 2nd book, but that's just me. The book is compelling if you're into gothic tragedy.

Lovers of V. C. Andrews will Go Wild over this Gothic Story of Revenge, Family Secrets, Betrayal, and Death.

Some Family Secrets are better off left in the past.

Have You Ever Wonder If the Dollanger Siblings Story took place in the Victorian Era but with unique Twists.
