Epic Story and Ending!

Action. Drama. Depth. Suspense. Passion. This story draws you right in and never releases its grip. Sarah Branson’s “A Merry Life” is the perfect mental getaway to another world. This epic, spectacular listen is genuinely moving and the storyline keeps you hooked. The main character, Kat Wallace, is everything you need in a protagonist and more. Every moment I listened I felt stronger, taller and more badass. I guarantee you’ll fall hard for her wounded history, admire and cheer for this strong, multifaceted heroine, and you’ll love every second you spend in this action packed, extraordinary, unforgettable story.

If you’re looking for a book that you’ll want to stay up all night to finish, read on. The narrator is perfection. I NEED the sequel! Don’t miss this one.

Wonderful adventure

I loved this book! I was fascinated by the concept but really fell for the characters. It encompasses the very different and yet very interconnected aspects of Kat’s persona. She’s so freaking cool. There’s also some rather thought provoking issues that have major parallels in our current time. I highly recommend this book!! And now I’m chomping at the bit for the next installment.

Good strong woman lead

I really enjoyed this first in a series book! The characters and setting are well developed. The story is intriguing. Set in the future, this story isn’t nerdy futuristic, but believable. The author has given us hope for some things changing but has left some unfortunate societal norms still in place for the main character to have to deal with.

The audio book is well read, although there are a couple of editing hiccups - not enough to hurt the story. I still enjoyed having this story read for me.

I’m looking forward to the second book to find out what happens next.

Fun Read

Fast paced and a lot more drama than I was expecting. I am eager to read more.
