Publisher's Summary

Four years ago, I lost my virginity on live, streaming television. Too bad I wasn’t awake for it.

The video went viral. Of course it would. A senator’s daughter on camera? Wouldn’t you click “Share”? Besides, that’s what three of the four guys in the video did. Share. They shared me.

But that fourth guy? The nondescript one in the background in the upper left corner of the screen, just sitting on the couch? The only one who did nothing? Not one single thing. That was my boyfriend, Drew. And that was the last time I saw him.

Until today, when my father - now on a path to the White House - hired him as head of security for my new team as I return home after four years of “recovering” in an undisclosed location that involved white lab coats, needles, pills, and damage control.

You see, the other three guys never went to jail. Never had charges pressed. Never faced consequences. Until today. Game on.

A Harmless Little Game is the first in this political thriller/romantic suspense trilogy by USA Today best-selling author Meli Raine.

Absolutely fantastic series

I don't often leave reviews, but this series made me haul my lazy butt to a full-size keyboard to type one.

This is a three-part series: A Harmless Little Game, A Harmless Little Ruse and A Harmless Little Plan. And I absolutely loved each book.

These books were well worth the price. In fact, if I had read these using the Romance Package option, I would have gone back and paid for them so I could keep the set.

The storyline was unique, and the action / intensity / heat flowed non-stop. I always love these narrators (Sebastian York and Andi Arndt), and they were outstanding again in this series. I'm now searching for other books by Meli Raine.

Wow 😲 unbelievable story!

What a great and unbelievable story, and I tell you Andi Arndt brings this story to life, and I would like to slap the crap out of the mom character. Meli Raine I know this is just the first book of the series but what a movie this would of made, then again your narrators you picked out for this series are going to nail it! Fixing to listen to the next on and I love me some Sabastian York! 😍😘

Nice Book

I liked this book overall although hate it when the author takes one story and breaks into three books to sell more. This is really just the first third of the story written from the female's point of view. I liked the story but there were times when Lindsey made me roll and my eyes and scream about too stupid to live characters. There are a lot triggers in this book for those who are sensitive to that stuff. Tons of communication issues because that seems to be what the story hinged on - characters making bad assumptions and keeping things from each other which creates drama. Not bad but a bit weird.

OMG

5 star review of A Little Harmless Game by Meli Raine (Harmless #1)
Meli Raine is a new author to me and I will certainly be looking into her other books as soon as time allows. There is a cliff hanger at the end, so be warned. I actually listened to this on audible so it made the story even more gripping in my opinion.
Well where do I start? Firstly there is NOTHING harmless about this game. There is gang rape, torture, violence and such a mind f**k that you feel as though you are on a roller coaster which is out of control and you have no idea where you are going to end up.
Lindsay Bosworth is a broken and shattered woman, the result of a traumatic and horrific attack 4 years ago. She has been kept secluded from the public eye since the attack occurred and was plastered all over social media. Even worse than the 3 men who attacked her, her boyfriend sat by and let it all occur, or did he?
When she is finally allowed to return to her family, her father sends her bodyguard to escort her home, only problem is that it is Andrew “Drew” Foster, her ex boyfriend.
Thrust back into her life, Lindsay has to battle not only her demons but her feelings for the man she believes betrayed her. Not knowing who she can trust she second guesses almost everyone in her life.
This was a raw, gritty read that was at time emotional and certainly not for the feint of heart. Well written, the suspense and political intrigue got me from the start and I once I finished I immediately had to one click the remaining two books so that I could find out what happened.

Cliffhanger alert!

The story was very good. The narrator is one of my favorites, she never disappoints. I didn’t like using three credits to listen to the entire story.

Got off to a good start

This was the first and best book of the series. The other two don’t add much to the story but you have to read them to get the end of the story. I gave it only 4 stars because the story could have been concluded in this first installment.

Argh!

I can't stand it! I cannot put this book down but unfortunately I cannot spend all day and all night listening to it.this story had me in its grips from the beginning. I don't even think I'm halfway done but I have no desire to do anything but sit and listen to this.it makes me want to cry, it makes me want to laugh and the thought of what this girl went through breaks my heart. do not pass the story up!

Great narrators!

I loved the storyline and characters, however I thought the book was long winded with too many similes. I feel one book would have been more exciting and thrilling without the padding out. I still recommend it.
