Exciting, end leaves you wanting more
This is an exciting story that kept me interested from beginning to end. I think I liked this book somewhat less than the previous 7 in the story, but only somewhat. There’s less science and engineering but more battle. The ending was a cliff-hanger and I’m now left waiting fairly impatiently for the next book.

Listen at 115% speed to enjoy this great story!
Writing this review at a little over 12 hours in. Great world building, and loving how this world just keeps expanding, charcter, history, believable and intelligent interactions.
The bad: The narrator speaks slow, and sometimes it's hard to tell when he's speaking as diffrent characters. I started listening at 115% speed and enjoyed it a lot more.

The book over all was but for me i miss the engendering and over coming of the build issues the last 9hr of the book goes into detail about the battle personally it went on so long i found my self tuning out more and more
