I was never supposed to love him. I wasn’t even supposed to like him.

He was the enemy: Calavastrix the Storm. He’d razed our ranch once already and threatened my family and friends. But now, injured, he has come to us for help.

I wasn’t supposed to fall for him. I told myself this, over and over, as I nursed him back to health. He is only a prisoner. He is still the enemy. But his dragon tongue has a way of getting under my skin.

There are only two problems. One: I am not an omega. And two: The Templars are coming to kill us all.

Omega’s Destiny is the explosive sixth and final audiobook in the epic mpreg Guardian Dragons series. Sweet and steamy, this enemies-to-lovers audiobook brings the conflict between shifters and Templars to a dangerous - and satisfying - finish.

This book was enjoyable. Uri is a human and Caleb a dragon shifter, who turns his mate into an Omega and they have a child together.

I went a little out of order for well my own reasons and I wouldn't recommend it. Definitely stick the the order they were written it'll be more enjoyable. But overall this was a good conclusion and made me more excited to see how the 2 I skipped worked out! Frysta really narrated the series well. I'm glad he stuck with the whole thing.

Great conclusion

I was initially disappointed that the authors were going to try to redeem Caleb after his attack on the ranch in an earlier volume but I should have trusted them. They pulled off the redemption and I finally bought Yuri as his fated mate. It was interesting to see a dragon in full protective mode for a human initially, rather than an omega. The awesome change that occurs there will have repercussions for every future dragon story these authors write I suspect. It is world changing as they have set up their two most recent series based on the scarcity of omegas. I also wonder if now there will be some who see two classes of omegas - a "natural" and a "man-made". It will be interesting to see how the authors weave the new material, both as it relates to omegas and politics into future series. What kind of tensions will the new magic cause among the dragons (and other shifters if the technique works for them as well)? The new Templar magic we learn about is frightening in the way the authors describe it, so sterile and mechanical and you can feel and smell it in their descriptions. One of their best descriptive jobs in the series. We genuinely believe the ranch and its residents are in mortal danger. The final fight is quite a frantic affair. It was nice to meet old friends again at the ranch as usual and see how older couples are faring and learn about new children. The ending is hopeful and all my favorites have gotten their happy ever afters. The narrator's performance was fine if a bit stilted.

Overall This was a good enemies to lovers story and way to wrap up the series. Caleb was a dragon shifter and Uri a human, Lots of emotion and action. The narration was well done!! Another good story by Aiden Bates and Jill Haven, a great combination.

Yuri and Caleb meet under terrible circumstances. Caleb has been injured by an enemy and flies to the ranch for help. The ranch he has attacked in the past! Caleb is an injured dragon that is being cared for by a human. The enemy of Caleb is also an enemy if the motley crew at the ranch. The emotion between these two is easily conveyed by the narrator and the characters have their own voices. I loved this fantasy audiobook and recommend the narrator and authors highly!

Fantastically great!
