Thoughtful & Inspirational

This was a very interesting book as a autobiography of sorts of Jucinda Ardern's political career. All heart & soul, it describes her life and political actions from the start of her career until she leaves office at Prime Minister of New Zealand. An authentic, interesting and compelling story from a true humanist. well worth the listen.

Amazing Storytelling

I wasn’t familiar with Jacinda Ardern but saw this book recommended on a Reddit sub. I was engaged throughout the whole thing which is rare for me that my mind doesn’t wander a little bit. I was sad when the book ended and will listen to it again.

Inspirational and moving

Wonderfully told story of an inspirational, humble, kind leader. If only more leaders were like Ardern then the world would be in a better place.

Leaders can indeed be kind

She leads from the heart as well as her head. They clearly have a wonderful marriage as well. Jacenda is a strong example of a life well lived and had a huge impact on the citizens of New Zealand. What a wonderful leader and human being she is. The world needs more leaders like her.

Everything about the story and the narration reminded me of what we should hope for in a leader in a human. Thank you for being both a model and a teacher and for telling your important story

New Zealand, where my husband and I ( as well as our children ) lived for over 9 years, leaving in 1980.

A better kind of power

I knew of Ardern for the positive headlines she made as New Zealand’s prime minister. But I knew little of the strength or source of her impressive character. I am grateful for the example she set, and for her choice to teach in the US, where we desperately need leaders and voters who will follow her approach to being a compassionate human first and a politician second.

Getting to know her is joyful, inspiring and educational.

The honesty of this memoir is such a blessing. Getting to the end of it only made me want to know more, to listen more and to learn more. It is a must listen to book.
