On the darkest night, the stars still shine.

Feyre’s first Winter Solstice as High Lady is drawing near. With it will come a hard-earned rest from the work that she, Rhysand and their friends have done to rebuild the Night Court and the vastly changed world beyond. Yet the festive atmosphere can’t keep shadows from looming.

Even as her own heart heals, she finds that those dearest to her have wounds that go deeper than she knew. And the scars of the past will touch her court in times to come.

A Court of Thorns and Roses is a young adult high fantasy series by Sarah J. Maas. The saga begins when Feyre Archeron, a 19-year-old huntress, is kidnapped and brought to the faerie lands of Prythian. Her kidnapper is Tamlin, a High Fae and one of the seven High Lords of Prythian. The series follows their story as Feyre spends time in the world of the fae and discovers that everything she thought she knew about faeries is absolutely wrong.

Unfortunately, I see no reason for this book as relationships remained unresolved. It was a huge disappointment for me. Save your time.

Useless

this book was a little hard to get through as nothing really went on but I get it was kind of a bridge to the next one. the only thing I really don't like about this series on audible is the constant change of the reader I wish it was the same person each time.

love this series

I didn’t mind the story being so short since it was a novella, but the narrator changed some of the accents she gave people since the last book or how she pronounced certain names/places. Hopefully it’s more consistent in the next book. Overall, it’s still worth the listen, but it’s not my favorite book in the series.

At least worth the listen

I actually enjoyed this novella/long epilogue. Sure... there's wasn't much in it that really moves the story forward, but it does give little nuggets. It was actually a nice break from all the bad stuff that the characters have been going through...think of it as a breather. The story focuses on Winter Solstice and the characters getting a brief moment to try to enjoy life and each other before crap hits the fan again.

I didn't have any problems with the new narrator and would love to have a longer book. but happy

Happy to have more to the story!
