Publisher's summary

Christmas. A wedding. Family. It’s the perfect storm....

For Rory Kincaid marrying Jack, the youngest son of the aristocratic De Lacy family, on Christmas Eve, is a dream come true. Handing over the wedding planning to Jack’s mother, the strong-willed Lady Diana, is turning out to be more of a nightmare.

As their big day approaches, the pressure’s on and the strain is beginning to show. Announcements in society magazines, a guest list that’s growing and growing, and fittings for the best bespoke tailoring in London, it’s all a far cry from Rory’s humble upbringing. Piece by piece, Rory and Jack’s dream of a simple winter wedding is fading fast.

Rory is Jack’s everything. Sweet, kind, and totally adorable, Rory is all Jack has ever wanted. And what Jack wants most of all is to give the man he loves the wedding day of his dreams - which means taking a stand against the indomitable Diana.

Warning: this story contains two gorgeous men, a mountain of festive food, a punk rocker Christmas fairy called Bunty, and a snowy Christmas wedding. No cliff hangers, and 100 percent Happy Ever After guaranteed.

Read the prior 2 novellas for max enjoyment

After 2 years, starting from Jack coming home to a homeless Rory on his doorstep to them falling in love to starting a business together to their wedding, this is one couple that deserves their special day. The story did not need the drama of Diana's helpful overexposure, but it did not detract from the overall story.
At the end of this tale, Ali Ryecart is hinting at something, which I am interested to hear her take on going forward. It's a controversial topic and very painful for LGBT couples due to the real life drama that happens from legal issues. I do want Jack and Rory to have their happy ending with the full spread of experience.

I never knew audio could improve a book!

Wow. I’m not a huge audiobook fan, but I was offered a review copy of A Christmas Wedding and, because I love Jack and Rory and enjoyed listening to the two previous audiobooks, I accepted. And I had an epiphany – Dan Calley brought something to the audio version that even improved on the written word. This story, which takes place two years after Jack finds Rory freezing on his doorstep, details the last few weeks before their wedding – exhaustion, overwork, contention with Diana, and the pure abiding love that they share, all included. The detail that struck me most was that, while Dan still uses the same voice for Rory that he has throughout the series, I realized that Rory sounds self-confident and sure now, certain of his place and his true partnership with Jack regardless of the surface issues that might appear to divide them. I enjoyed the knowledge that Rory no longer feels that divide, that he has embraced their partnership and is not entering marriage as a lesser party. What a gift Dan has given to Rory, and to the listener! And what a story - low angst, with a guaranteed happy ending, the conclusion is simply, perfectly beautiful.

A Christmas romance!

Jack and Rory were adorable together.

This was a sweet, no angst contemporary Christmas romance.

The setting of the story was cute and the characters were likeable and well fleshed out.

Dan Calley performed an exemplary audio delivery and narration.
The narration made me enjoy this even more.

Definitely recommend!!

Wedding Fluff

A Christmas Wedding was the third book in the Rory and Jack series and it is a sweet and fluffy conclusion to the trilogy. Rory and Jack have everything they want: they are in love and own their own successful business. There is some drama with the wedding and family matters, but all in all, this final book is just full of sweetness and fluff. It was a perfect Christmas story.

The audiobook was narrated by Dan Calley who did a great job with the audiobook. Dan voiced each character perfectly and really brought to life all the joy and drama of the story. The audiobook production was well done and it made for a fantastic listening experience.

Weddings Never Go Smoothly.

Jack and Rory are getting married! A simple and small wedding on Christmas Eve. Except Lady Diana De Lacy is taking care of the big as Rory and Jack are busy with their new bakery.
Needless to say, Rory and Jack find they have not a Bridezilla on their hands but Mumzilla, and one who wants her son to have a beautiful wedding day.
Once again A.E. Ryecart brings humor, a bit of family drama and lots of love to this story. And not to mention the desire for mince pies and all the goodies Rory bakes! My craving for cupcakes and treats are right up there with a need for more of these two men!!
Dan Calley's narration is fantastic as always.
Can't recommend this series enough, I love listening to all of these books numerous times! Just so well done and enjoyable!!
P.S. Rory and Jack's Goodies (i.e. cookbook) is SOOOO needed! 😉
