Another Adventure

A gathering, a sparking necklace and murder! Freddie gets into romantic trouble but always comes out well. A lot of red herrings but good mystery and wonderful narration

What a fun story

Clara Benson is so talented. Her dialogue for the characters is so real, hysterically funny, and enjoyable. Gethyn Edwards is the only person who can make Freddy, well Freddy. His characters are all different and distinguishable. His timing and delivery is what makes me love Freddy and those in his orbit. When I am a bit overwhelmed I turn to Clara Benson’s FPS. I put the audio volume low and fall see sleep to Gethyn and Freddy and the antics and joy of the story.

Never a dull moment

So pleased to have found these gems. Each book is a complete story with repeating characters who have much fun populating classic golden age scenarios. This has a country house setting and is one of the best of the series.
