A Bagged Body

Eryn Scott adds another great cozy mystery to the Stoneybrook Mystery series with A Bagged Body.

Hadley is used to drama around Stoneybrook with small town life and gossip. However, things get a bit more complicated when her ex-husband Tyler returns to town with a girlfriend. When the girlfriend turns up dead and Hadley is the one to find her she has to find the truth and clear her name.

I had been wondering if Tyler would return and I liked that he became part of the mystery. It felt like a good way to have him interact with Hadley and her boyfriend Luke as they would have normally avoided him. The mystery was well done, too, and kept me guessing until the end.

This book and series are some of my favorites from Eryn Scott and I definitely recommend them if you are a fan of small town cozy mysteries.

Great story and narration

Great cozy mystery. Both the author and the narrator kept me invested from the first chapter. With a number of twists and turns and a result I didn’t see coming, I was hooked. Cannot wait to read and or listen to more from this author.

Eryn Bagged Another Win

I fell in love with this series back at book 1-3 bundle. I think is a great nod to some things that happened at the beginning while showcasing new people in the town. If you enjoy the other stories in this series, then you won't be disappointed. The only small complaint is that it was too short and I always want more. One thing that interest me in this series is how it features a cat and the unique way it appears in the stories and who ends up being the pet parent. This one didn't lack in that arena either. Glad to know that certain things that happened at the end happened. Additionally, I can't forget that grandma and her buddies returned to help sleuth along and give their insight. I love those ladies. If you like cozy mysteries, then take a chance, but start at the beginning.

Great edition to the series!

Loved this book. Kept me guessing who actually did the dirty deed. This narrator has a very pleasant voice and she annunciates words well and does the voices of the characters well. Kudos!

Another great book in this series

If you love cozy mysteries this book did not disappoint! Kudos to the author and narrator they really work well with each other. This story kept me guessing. I love the overall good feeling I get listening to it.
