Faced with war and the end of the world, Eric - or Halar the First, King of Karvalen - must find a way to stop a godlike entity bent on his destruction. His quest will be no easy thing, not a straight line to his goal, but even he can't anticipate just how far it will lead him on this epic journey. He will have to go farther than he can imagine from everything he has ever cared about before he can even begin a new journey - a journey home.

Can he save the world and the people he loves? And, in so doing, will he be able to save himself?

not as melodramatic as the others. it left some loose ends. especially with the latter half plot points. but overall a good book

interesting end to the book

I will admit, probably one of my favorites nightlord books. my biggest gripe has always been and always will be the constant dialogue that wastes time that can be spent more on the story rather than the inner monologues. also, maybe we'll get a book where he just get sick and tired of being too nice to everyone and in one book he just goes to town on everyone. And becomes whatever the hell he wants to be a doesn't let anyone talk back to him . try the good old-fashioned oh your gods don't like me I don't care I'll just kill all of you guys then the gods wont matter. But again, that's just my opinion I like the book I like the writer definitely knows how to keep me entertained.

I love it

Mobius is the latest installment for a fantastic series. The series is my favorite since Robert Jordan's WoT series.
What do you get when a nerdy community college physics teacher with an overblown sense of responsibility for everyone under his care becomes a magic wielding, immortal vampire that is human during the day and a Night Lord at night? Answer: A very dangerous and confused good guy that mixes physics with magic. Throw in a mix of higher state energy beings (gods) and anything can happen.
In Mobius, all Eric wants is to be left alone so he can figure out a few things. He needs to understand why time slips between parallel universes and an alternative to nuking his adopted world that accidentally destroys it. He only has a dozen or so millennia to figure it out before he gets back to his own time. The problem is, Eric is the round peg that societies keep trying to stick in their square holes. That just won't work. Society will need to change because he simply won't fit.

The best fantasy series since Robert Jordan's WoT

If you're a fan of the series to begin with you'll appreciate the story brought to you in this latest book. I literally couldn't stop listening, and now I'm on my second time going through it again. My favorite thing about Garon Whited's work is that you can talk to him about it on Facebook and nerd out a bit. Sean Runnette's performance was also amazing. he's got the ability to really bring the characters to life. great job Gain and Sean, I can't wait to read the next one.

Yeet!

It's a shame I'm capped out at five stars
