Beck is irresponsible and immature, and I've hated him since the moment we met freshman year. Yet, the coaches see something in him I obviously can't, and they refuse to choose between us. I'm going to win these stupid challenges easily and spend my senior year as hockey king on this campus. Tormenting Jacobs at the same time will just be a bonus. Even if I'm getting confusing feelings toward him, I won't let it hold me back. When it comes to competing, I'm all in, and nothing will get between me and the W.

Keeps getting better!!

After book 1 I didn't know if it could get any better.... it can and does!!! now on to book 3!!!

Jacobs and Beckett are the cutest!

I really liked the first book but I LOVED this one. The only complaint I have is that the narrator for Beck doesn't always pay attention to punctuation and needs to take a breath sometimes instead of plowing through. Lol

the characters are so sweet together. one dare changes everything. I recommend this book. the narrators do a good job too.

Beck and Jacobs are so much fun!!!

Jacobs and Beck are an unlikely pair which makes their journey to their HEA so satisfying. Their banter is often hilarious and their competitive natures add that additional element of one-ups-manship to most aspects of their relationship. Actually, the competition is there in almost everything these two do.

As always, I enjoy the fact that labels aren’t the focus , but the confusion surrounding their attraction is showcased for both of them. That part at least comes across as authentic to what would actually happen in real life when someone is faced with a situation like this. I don’t think that labels mean much beyond adding some clarification for those that identify on the Ace spectrum. Though Beck saying to himself that he thinks he’s Topher-sexual is absolutely perfect.

I liked the blend of tropes in this story. We had bi-awakening, gay for you, forced proximity, enemies to lovers, and sports romance all rolled into this entertaining package. It was brought to life by the very talented Alexander Cendese and Iggy Toma. It love how these two make books a pleasure to listen to. Not gonna lie, I find it hilarious that Alexander Cendese makes some of his male characters sound like surfers when they’re ostensibly all from New England. It’s something I anticipate in every book he narrates.
