Resumen del Editor

Asher

Hockey, studying, and school runs. That's my life now. After a tragic accident that took our parents' lives, it's up to me and my big brother to take care of our five younger siblings. In between burning their meals and keeping them from killing each other, I'm supposed to get a college degree. If I don't get my grades up, I'm in danger of losing the one thing that makes me happy: my spot on the hockey team.

Which is why when the new equipment manager offers to tutor me, I really can't afford to say no. Even though I should. He's Coach's son and way too tempting.

Kole

As this year's equipment manager for Dad's hockey team, I'm expected to deal with sweaty jock straps and herding hockey players to their rooms at away games. The job is easy, but babysitting Asher Dalton is not supposed to be a part of it. So why, when his brother asks me to keep an eye on him, do I agree? Why, when he's struggling in classes, do I offer to help? And why, when we're studying, do I suggest a reward system that lands us squarely in bed?

Asher's trouble, I know he is. But there's something about him that makes it impossible to stay away.

Contains mature themes.

Awesome Series!!!

Kole, coaches son, and Asher coaches hot head player, become a very unlikely couple. Kole hates hockey after all!!! But…Asher needs his help with classes and Kole gives him a reason to stay out of trouble. Asher and brother West have a huge responsibility on the home front and I enjoyed that part of the story!

love the narrators

The CU Hockey series gets better and better. I absolutely love these stories. I freakin love narrators, they are both perfect for their characters. I can't wait and I am anticipating the next story.

Another wonderful addition in this series!!

"Any day that ends in apple pie can't be terrible" thank you Kole 😘. I really loved this one...maybe because it involved two older brothers trying to hold a family of 5 kids together after the death of their parents and the two older brothers still have dreams and goals of their own. The Christmas fiasco had me lauging out loud and the family scene near the end had me tearingbup. I loved how Kole and Asher were together...they just fit and knew each other so well. As much as I enjoyed "little or mini Dalton"...a very large part of me kept eating up the scenes featuring big brother Westly *sigh* Thank you #IgXander....Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendese are wonderful performers for this series

5 stars - worthy of a repeat listen

The Best Studying You’ll Ever Do!

I swear each book gets better and better! This one is the coach’s son and the grumpy hockey player. Enough said. But the steamy rewards in exchange for getting answers correct is the cherry on top. Also filled with great friendships, and sibling family drama as usual in a Finley & Saxon book! The narrators were fantastic as always!

cute couple❤️

great character depth and development in Asher. I was looking forward to Ashers story. he found connection, love, and hope in Cole. I'm happy they were already out and we didn't have to listen to that overdone trope. Coles character was a little flat for me. he needed a little more drama that could've played off Asher. he did all the right stuff for asher and I love Cole for that, but that left the book lopsided. being anxious that the guy you're attracted to is going to play you at the beginning of a relationship is pretty normal, to be expected, so that doesn't count as real tension and the promise of tension fades fast when the characters do nothing to justify it, i.e. they are monogamous and never waiver. that's all Cole really had. besides that and his medical school, there wasn't much to him other than being an emotional support bf.

This is my favorite from the series

It was an easy read and fun like the rest of the books in the series but this one had a little angst and I loved that

I love both narrators but Alexander is my favorite and the emotion he showed in chapter 21 made me an even bigger fan. That chaoter makes me cry every time I listen to it 🥺

A lot of laughs but I lot of tearing up as well!

Undoubtedly Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendese are a great narrating duo and really Alexander here was magnificent, especially in the scene were Asher was crying all over Kole and West.

This made me laugh, like A LOT! But it made me cry as well!

Asher's story is a heartbreaking one. The front he puts out there to keep himself safe from more hurt is that of a porcupine! I'll hurt you to hurt me but I don't care because that pain is superficial and keeps the pressure lead on. Kole doesn't buy Asher's attitude, he challenges him straight on with sarcasm and Asher seeing that Kole doesn't take the bait he deflates quickly.

These two are so good together and perfect for each other! Incredible banter, witty exchanges, communication and chemistry OFF THE FREAKING CHARTS!!!

The ending is the beginning of their future and a strong HFN because to me it didn't feel as a HEA, especially since Asher and Kole's dreams for the future didn't exactly align in the family department. As much as Kole thought and said about a house and a yard for Hades it seemed tentative at best. So yes these two together now are going strongly but I'm skeptical in how they'll be in 10-15 years, hence the half the star off. I think an epilogue in a few years time would have helped but maybe that would have spoilered West's story.

Favorite of the series!

Loved Asher and Kole so much! This was my favorite of the series so far,
I loved that there wasn't a lot of outside drama, or even drama between Kole and Asher, I enjoyed watching their friendship development, as it moved to a friends with benefits type relationship, finally progressing to a true romance,
I really felt for Asher, all he was dealing with after his parents death, I was so glad when he opened up to Kole, and I just appreciated Kole so much.
I don't think Alexander Cendese has ever made me cry during one of his performances, but man he really got me in one scene-I wonder if he actually teared up as he performed it???
He and Iggy are so great together, they always give their all to their performances. I've really enjoyed listening to them portray the characters in this series.

Asher & Kole

I absolutely loved Asher and Kole’s story! I loved their banter, their developing friendship, their chemistry, the sexy times, and the laughs. Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendense totally nailed these two characters! I lvoed their narration for them, and even with re-reads and listens, they have continued to keep me engaged. Going into their story I thought Asher might be a tough sell for me. However I loved him right away and I could sense the mushy heart behind his antics! He’d faced some tough challenges the last couple of years and my heart went out to him. Of course I adored Kole immediately and loved how as a “nerd” he was so upfront about what he wanted. Our Kole was no wallflower! He had a huge heart, and I loved that he could see the one Asher was protecting. These two were so meant for each other it was disgustingly adorable. Kole got Asher in a way that no else ever had. Asher made Kole think about things he never thought he wanted. Their chemistry was super hot, but I loved when their friends with benefits took the turn to something more. It was both sweet and sexy! I was so invested in their story, I didn’t want it to end! There was something about these two that drew me in, and I think they will stick with me for awhile. I loved getting some glimpses of the other guys we’ve met in the CU world. This has been such a fun series and I’m eager to see where the authors take it next!
