Believe in Yourself

If you are like me, you've been advised to just 'believe in yourself.' You have tried, but often, you are left wondering, 'what exactly does that mean?' or 'I want to do that, how do I do it?' Well, this book helped me make some strides toward that end. It breaks down some of the things that get in the way of believing in yourself - comparing yourself to others - and helps you deal with them on a macro level. I feel like I am more willing to take risks after listening to this book, so thank you!

Being Confident in yourself!

This audiobook was very insightful and provided helpful tips on how to become your best self. It is directed toward teens and, understandably so, as they go through a rollercoaster of changes in this period of life; however, I found that it can also be helpful for everyone. This book helps to develop and build your confidence, clear your thoughts of negativity and what others may think of you, and concentrate on your goals.

Chanter 12 was my favorite; it encourages you not to give up and be confident in your ability to push forward and achieve your goals.

Just what teens need!

This is a great book full of information to help teens boost their self esteem. Many teens deal with low confidence levels but are too afraid to talk about it. This book can help give them the pick me up they need. I enjoyed the section about improving communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal. And the section on stopping negative thought patterns.
This was well researched, well written, and well narrated!

We are all human

Most self-esteem issues come from childhood. Growing up, I had anxiety issues and was socially awkward. The book was very relatable. I wish that I could have used those techniques when I was younger. However, I can still use them as I am older and more aware. The key is to face your fears and remember that everyone is human.
