Good Story

This gave a nice look into the lives of the marines on patrol in Vietnam.

OK

The story was OK. It was kind of short and in a few places, the sotry conradicted itself. Mostly when talking about weapons and what was being used. However, all in all it was OK.

Narration is awful.

It would be nice if the person reading the book could probably pronounce names, places, and things correctly. They should perhaps research words if they are unfamiliar and not just wing it.

Hard to listen to the whole book.

Struggled to finish this book. Very boring. I like to listen to Vietnam books but this one did not keep me entertained.

This is a good "read." It does take a strange turn, but all in all it has a lot of great info on the subject.

I liked hearing the exploits of a Marine that I had gone through ITR with back at Camp Pendleton.

Great listen

Great book detailing life as a Marine Corps Scout sniper in Vietnam. I’ve read this book 3 times now and enjoyed it every time.

NOT THE WHOLE BOOK

Don't waste your money, this isn't the whole book. I have the physical copy and after listening to this I had my doubts it was the whole book. Sure enough after looking in the book for 15 seconds there were storys this narration didn't cover. This edition is very short and boring as well. Just a lot of names and dates. I'm sure the full book is better.
