Good Story But...

This may have been the most depressing series I've ever read! Everyone dies! EVERYONE! EVERY! ONE! DIES! But the narrator is awesome.

Loved

Dark and gruesome and doesn’t sugar coat things. Realistic reactions from people in grim circumstances.

Soldier to the end.

If you’ve listen/read the previous 2 novels, this one will not disappoint. A work to remember, with a brief summary at the beginning, “The Last Soldier” would be an awesome stand alone work. I would like to see all 3 turned into a sci-fi series.

A grim tale of human persistence

If you've listened up till this final book, you know it's a grim and unforgiving setting. Its an apocalyptic finality to our reality. No punches are held are held back. No mercy is shown. As a enjoyer of such grim tales, this series rests high atop my personal favorites. Fantastic writing, amazing narrator.

I was surprised

I quite enjoyed the series. the ending was quite a surprise. the second book was meh
