Absolutely loved this story! Miles is golden retriever 100% and I loved Annie 💗 This audio was fantastic and for the characters so so well! Go listen/read this!!

What a fun read/listen!

From first page to last, this was such an awesome listen! I adored the story and I adored Annie/Whitney voiced by Charlotte Lobdell. She sounded just like I thought Annie/Whitney would. Young, funny, vulnerable, awkward and adorable. And the chemistry between Annie/Whitney and the sexy Miles Zhou created by Zhuyoh Wong felt spot on. I also now have a serious hankering for some fresh baked pie. Maybe blackberry. Maybe rhubarb. Nice job, Maggie Gates!

Annie Smith (aka author Whitney West) & Miles

This was quite a story with so many crazy moments and the realization that the way you thought your life might turn out, may be even better with someone unexpected by your side. I fell into the pages of Miles and Annie's story and was taken on an adventure full of excitement, twists, turns, banter, friendship, intrigue, a bit of terror and gut wrenching fear tucked in alongside. I. Loved. Every. Minute. Of. This. Book. It managed to surpass my expectations AND be nothing at all like I expected. Romantic Suspense at it's best. Five stars all the way.

Charlotte Lobdell & Zhuyah Wong do an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality. They do more than giving their characters their voices, they fall into the roles and become the character. This was my first book with Charlotte & Zhuyoh and I absolutely loved them as Annie/Whitney & Miles! Both of them very quickly moved into to my Top 10 narrators!!!

Maggie can do no wrong!

Annie & Miles

I liked the narration just fine but I didn't like that the words in the kindle book didn't match the words in the audiobook. I mean like, a LOT of changes. I noticed it in one of the early chapters and then in the chapter with the billionaire and his wife, their names had been changed - his and her first names AND their last name. This is not good.

Retired MMA fighter Miles is hyper, a golden retriever, now working as a bodyguard. He's been assigned to Annie, who writes smutty romance under a pseudonym. Someone isn't happy with Annie's writing career - she's being stalked. She is already insecure, and her brain never isn't getting in the way of her just living, relaxing, enjoying her life. Miles is all kinds of adorable and just wants to love her, while he keeps her safe.

I kind of liked this story, and there were scenes that were really sweet and poignant.
