Publisher's Summary

Lauren Harper wanted four things.

Respect. Success. Happiness. And to annihilate Roman Pierce.

Sure, he was a smooth, smart and sexy attorney who made the senior partners at their law firm cream their pants. But he was also an annoying cocky jerk who she'd been competing with since they had both been hired over a year ago.

And Lauren didn't care how amazing his smile was or how hot his body was underneath that suit - the firm-sponsored fun run had a lot to answer for - he was a ruthless, ambitious prick who would stop at nothing to climb the corporate ladder. He'd even climb over her given half the chance. Sadly, she'd probably enjoy that. No. That wasn't what she was supposed to be thinking. She did not want him climbing over or under her, or doing anything else to her. He was the enemy. Destroying him was the only option.

Wiping that smug, beautiful grin off his gorgeous, obnoxious face, a bonus.

Now, if she could just keep her objective in check and obliterate him before he did the same to her.

Funny, Sexy Enemy to Lovers Romance!

I wasn't sure I would enjoy this at the beginning. Lauren Harper and Roman Pierce were colleagues at a Law firm who were so competitive, always trying to one up the other. They exchanged barbs but their competition drove them to be better lawyers. I quickly got into the rhythm and fell for the humor, smart banter and heartwarming, sweet romance. Lauren is smart and confident but at times she had me laughing out loud when her brain would conjure up the most hilarious scenarios. Roman took awhile to understand but trust me when I say he is the sweetest, most loyal, and protective alpha and you will love him in the end. I am a huge fan of grand gestures and this story had me swooning!
Grace Grant did an amazing job with this story. Her inflections were spot on and her comedic timing was brilliant.
This story is a hilarious, sweet & sexy romance that won me over quickly and I need to check out the rest of this series!

Grace Grant was totally great!

My first T. Gephart book was amazing! This was fantastic story… so funny and smart! I loved the two lawyers trying to work with each other. Their banter was just off the charts hilarious! I laughed so hard listening to this audio book! The dialogue between these characters was completely perfection! I adored Grace Grant’s narration of these characters!

Smart and Fun!

#1 Rival is smart and funny, a hate to love story of two lawyers who are trying to work together as sparks fly. Their chemistry is off the charts, the banter is awesome and the storytelling is completely entertaining! I think I’ve found a new favorite author!

"I had stumbled on the definition of a true paradox. I hated Roman Pierce. I wanted to destroy Roman Pierce. But unfortunately, I wanted to sleep with him as well."

One of the best feelings ever is to stumble upon a ‘new-to-me’ author and just fall in love with their writing. That is exactly the feeling I have after listening to the audiobook of #1 Rival. I now need to catch up and read everything this author has written!
I loved the narration and I’m so glad I got to listen to this book on audio!

A Fantastic Pairing! T Gephart and Grace Grant!

I love stories with strong women. Lauren is a lawyer and one tough cookie who can hold her own when it comes to the battle of wills with Roman Pierce. Grace Grant was fabulous and so versatile in her narration of Lauren. Her range of emotions were spot on.

T. Gephart has written some of the best internal dialogue that I have heard. Very, very clever repartee. It was pretty darn funny in some spots. I immediately got book one to listen to since I started with the third book in the series. Get this series. You won't regret it!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

mixed emotions

this is my third book from this author and it's kind of a sequel obviously you don't have to listen to the rest of the books it's it's own book however it does let you know about the the characters family and they're going through one brother after the other.
overall this book was okay to me was it great well not for me I got this book first because I like to follow the characters and secondly I love Grace Grant she does an amazing job of playing the female and the male character. I still enjoy the other first two books and I have listened to them twice but this one I just thought it was slow going it didn't grab me and seek me in it wasn't bad either because it did make me smile I enjoyed listening to it I just wouldn't listen to it again.
this book is about two characters who are always fighting against each other and before you know it fighting becomes Fourplay Fourplay becomes kind of sort of a relationship. questions and doubts jealousy assumptions coming to play. I do like the whole bickering going back and forth that was kind of funny. it's a love-hate relationship and it comes down to which one will win.
