Very difficult read even for the somewhat familiar, but worth the effort if you want to dive into more details.

As is always the case, Sean Carroll has delivered. I have listened to this audio book twice now and will be holding it in my library for future listens. I look forward to many more, that is after I finish "The Big Picture".

it is deep

I definitely understood more of the theoretical physics than the applied physics. if I didn't take physics course in college I don't know if I would have understood any of it. if you have interest in the subject matter then it's definitely worth reading.
