I can listen to this over and over again

The only downside, if I had to name any is that Brian Cox can only be heard at the beginning.

So, as I cut my teeth on particle physics, I needed a refresher, and Brian and Jeff were brilliant. I must admit, I can not listen to the reader at 1x speed, and I had to bump it up, knowing that when Brian speaks, it's practically warp speed. But the chapters are laid out perfectly, and I am planning on a second listen too.

I have listened to numerous other physicists on various subjects while I work as a mechanic. Many follow the history of theory"s from start to current and have great content. I wanted to dive a little deeper and found this book is thorough. They say anyone"s first intro into the quantum world will be confusing. They are correct. It's a different mind set for sure. I will defiantly be re-listening to this one and I urge the listener if new to the quantum world to pick a quiet corner and follow along with the diagrams provided. Dr Cox and Forshaw do a great job in this book and Samuel West does a great job narrating. His British accent is easy to understand, much like Dr Cox. I wanted to choose another of Dr Cox and Forshaw's publications however it was narrated by Dr Forshaw whose accent is a bit tougher for me to follow so I figured I would work up to it. Enjoy ...
