Great listen! Really enjoyed the story!

Loved the story, and as always with Lauren Fortgang, loved the narrator! This book gave me all the feels with its shocking revelations, twists and turns, 180°s, and an emotionally satisfying ending. Great listen overall.

Better than the first book

My problems with the first book were mostly resolved. There was a plot twist I didn't see coming and the ending was satisfying. I still feel like some of the characters and relationships didn't develop enough for the reader to believe in their depths and care what happened to them.

Maturity rating: young adult or college age. Themes of drug addiction, gory violence from monsters and war, heavy distrust/betrayal, and some sexual innuendos/emotional abuse.

Very Enjoyable

I really enjoyed the whole series. It kept me wanting to hear more. I look forward to other books by this author
