Do you long for time to spend with Jesus? Have you found yourself needing a hug from your husband, so you feel wanted? Do you feel guilty wishing there was more to your life than wiping noses and doing dishes? Are you drowning in the responsibilities of just being Mom? Do you wonder why your pre-mom routines are no longer working?

I am so excited that you are here! This podcast will help find peace with the time you do have, start rebuilding routines you need to stay sane, invite you to see yourself how God sees you, and find joy in motherhood.
Hi, I’m Cheryl, wife, girl mom, ministry leader, and Jesus follower. For years, I struggled to fit myself into the same routines, spiritual habits and identity I had as a newly married woman.
I was frustrated, discouraged and depressed when all I felt at the end of the day was worthless because I couldn’t accomplish all the things I used to be able to do.
I finally realized in trying to meet everyone’s needs except my own, I had forgotten who I was and, if I was going to have any joy in motherhood, I had to discover who I had become.
I had to rediscover my identity, learn how to prioritize my mental, spiritual, and even physical health so I could be the mom my girls needed.
If you’re ready to ditch the mom guilt for peace, find Jesus in the middle of the dishes, and love yourself like your babies do, this podcast is for you.
Grab your ear pods and start folding laundry, this is Time for Mom.

  • 49 | Confessions of a SAHM: I Fight God Like My Kids Fight Me
    Jan 21 2026

Do you ever see your kids’ behavior and suddenly realize, “That’s exactly what I do to God”?

Have you been rejected by your child and wondered if that’s how God still loves us when we push Him away?

Are you carrying guilt because motherhood keeps exposing the parts of you God is still gently shaping?

If so, you’re in the right place.

Hi Beautiful, I’m Cheryl — wife, girl mom, aspiring SAHM, and Jesus follower. I learned the not-so-secret ways to become the mom my girls needed by prioritizing Jesus, finding routines that worked, rejecting mom guilt when I failed, and learning what self‑esteem really is. This podcast is for moms who want Biblical encouragement and real‑life devotions. If you’re ready to build faith while washing dishes, become the mom you hoped you’d be, and love yourself the way your babies do — grab your earbuds and lock the bathroom door for a minute alone. It’s Time for Mom.

In this episode, I’m sharing how Motherhood became a Spiritual classroom so you can start growing with your kids.

    1. Motherhood reveals how often we fight God just like our kids fight us.

    2. Seeing the love of God sprouting in your kids teaches you about grace.

    3. Your child’s “I don’t like you” moments help you understand God’s unconditional love.

    4. There is purpose in the struggle—for your kids and for you.

    5. Your kids’ behavior becomes a living parable of your relationship with God.

  • 48 | What if You Tried, SAHM? When Growth Means Breaking Routine - Mom Life Devotion
    Jan 16 2026
Do your kids ask to do things that you don't want to, like dance in public? Have you given into those cute little faces and surprised yourself by actually doing well? What if God is asking you to step out and try new things? In this episode, I’m sharing a devotion on how much trying to draw (not an artist!) has grown me spiritually so you can see those boundary stretching things in a new way. Trying matters more than perfection — to your kids and to God. Your children delight in your presence, not your skill level — and God delights in your obedience the same way. You can do more than you think because God has already prepared good works for you (Ephesians 2:10). Fear of failure keeps us stuck in old identities, but trying builds confidence and spiritual maturity. When we stop trying, we miss out on discovering the gifts God has placed in us. Next Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 1:00 pm PST – 2:00 pm MST – 3:00 pm CST – 4:00 pm EST (Pick your time zone!), I will be hosting a free Time for Mom Breakthrough Workshop! Do you want to find that woman you used to be before you turned into Mom, but you feel like that woman died in childbirth? Listen, Cherished Momma, no, that is not truth. This workshop is going to help you find her again, one choice at a time. You don’t have to run away, you don’t have to start from scratch, and you don’t need to waste time trying everyone else’s mothering techniques. I’ll help you lean into how God made you, by reconnecting you to your faith and growing from there. So come join me in the Time for Mom Breakthrough Workshop, so I can take years off your journey to becoming the mom you want to be so you can enjoy life without the mom guilt. • 47 | Motherhood Brought Out the Worst in Me... God Can Restore Your Priorities, SAHM
    Jan 14 2026
Have you reacted to your kids in a way that left you feeling guilty? Do you struggle to control your emotions when your routines get ruined? Are you wondering how these other SAHM's (stay-at-home-moms) seem to have it all together while it's a struggle for you? (Spoiler: they don't, their struggle is just different than yours.) If so, you’re in the right place. Hi Beautiful, I’m Cheryl — wife, girl mom, aspiring SAHM, and Jesus follower. It’s Time for Mom. In this episode, I’m sharing 5 questions to ask yourself so you can step into becoming the mom you thought you could be with one small change at a time. What has your year revealed? What went well and you are thankful happened or you did? What didn't go so well, and you'd like to change? What is God nudging you towards? Out of all you wrote down, ask God to bring one thing to the front for you to change and one thing for you to continue. Pick one specific thing to change to get you toward that goal.
