62 | Why, God? Ask Questions Without Mom Guilt

In this episode, I’m sharing how watching my kids ask questions and struggle with obedience opened my eyes to how I do the same with God so you can find peace in the struggle between obedience and understanding. Obedience often comes before understanding, both for our kids and for us with God. Kids play the “Why?” game, and we often do the same with God when we delay obedience. God sees dangers, consequences, and priorities we don't, just like we do with our children. It’s healthy to ask God why, but He still calls us to obedience rooted in love (Deuteronomy 11:1). God sometimes withholds answers because faith grows through trust, not full explanations. Acts of obedience—like Rahab’s—can shape generations, even when we don’t see the fruit right away.
