Do you ever feel like you have to do everything on your own?

Like you can't depend on anyone else? A lot of us think that being independent means being strong. But what if going alone actually means missing out on something amazing?

    Proverbs 3:5- 6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Imagine…God has all wisdom and knowledge. His understanding surpasses mine and yours. What if you trusted His plan for your life instead of your own?

I can tell you from experience, starting a relationship with Jesus will change your life in the most marvelous ways.

Pray. Ask God to guide you in His wisdom today. Watch, and see what He will do.

Always remember, there is hope with God. I’m Andrew Palau.

  • Repent and Believe
    May 6 2025
    Is Jesus calling you?

Do you sense it? Does He feel close?

What a beautiful place to be. When Jesus called His followers in the book of Mark, He was very clear about what He was calling them to.

He said: repent and believe the good news. Then He said: follow me.

The word repent means to think differently, to morally reconsider.

Have you repented? Do you see things differently? Do you realize who you are in light of who He is? Do you believe the good news? That the King of all kings laid down his life for you?

If this is true of you, then follow Him. Become His disciple and allow Him to be your Father.

Always remember there is hope with God. This is Wendy Palau.

  • What do you depend on?
    May 5 2025
    What do you depend on?

Is it the first cup of coffee every morning? Or your close friends? Maybe your job?

But what happens in your life when one of those things is taken away? There’s one person you can always depend on, who will always love you, no matter what. It’s God.

When you are confronted with loss... pushed into a season of change, God will not abandon you. He doesn’t promise us an easy life, but He offers us something even better: It’s Himself. He came to earth as a person—Jesus—and gave His life out of love…for me and for you.

Do you want to start a relationship with God today?

    Pray,

God, I give my life to You. Jesus, I believe in You, and I receive You now. Forgive me of my sins and help me to start this new life, depending only on You.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

  • The Last Enemy
    May 2 2025
The Bible tells us of a day when Jesus will come back to reign on the earth.

It says… The last enemy to be destroyed is death.

But we don’t have to wait until that day to experience Jesus’ victory. If you decide to give your life to Jesus, He will trade it in for a new, revitalized life filled with His Holy Spirit.

Do you yearn for that deep, lasting peace? Well, you can have it.
Why not ask Him for it today?

    Pray with me…

Jesus, I give my old life to you. All of my wrong, all of my sin, all of my destructive behavior and words and actions. I’m sorry. Wash me clean— let my old self die away and be resurrected to new life. Will you make me a new creation? I choose this day to follow You, Jesus, as the Lord of my life. Amen.

Always remember there is hope with God. I’m Andrew Palau.

  • Light Brings Beauty
    May 1 2025
I live in a dark, cloudy, rainy place in the winter.

But some winter days, the sun will come out and the light reveals so much beauty in the landscape. The colors are brighter, the mountains are clear.

Light is beauty. This is true in creation, and it’s true in our spiritual lives.

Jesus says: I am the light of the world. He also says: When you walk with me, you will have the light of life.

When this happens in our lives, He begins to craft and reveal beauty in us and through us.

In our relationships. In our personalities. And in our role in the world and in the lives of others.

Are you under the fog and darkness today? Let His light dawn in your soul.

Always remember there is hope with God.

“I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.” John 8:12

  • Jesus Had a Plan
    Apr 30 2025
    We all die.

Eventually, our perishable bodies fail and leave this earth. We try so hard to avoid it, and we do all we can to extend our lives naturally so that we can be with the people we love as long as we possibly can.

But death is the very thing Jesus walked straight into. Can you imagine this? Moving towards your death instead of trying to escape from it?

The only reason for such a sacrifice is love.

It was a plan of love, a plan to offer us—everyone who is willing to come to Him—eternal life and a restored relationship with God.

Do you want to receive His love and start a new life, eternal life with Christ today?

    Then pray with me,

Lord, forgive me of all my sins. I want to follow You as the Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Spirit and make me new. And thank you. In Jesus name, amen.

"For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16

  • You Can Live
    Apr 29 2025
I was with someone the other day who said, “Yes, Wendy, I believe in a spiritual world. That my spirit will live on.”

    My question is, where? How?

The Bible gives us so much confidence about eternity! That there is life after death and that our spirits will live. And that we can live with God.

The Bible tells us that this hope is an anchor for our souls because of Jesus. He died, but He is stronger than death. And God raised Jesus from the dead.

We also can be raised after death to life, and it can begin today for you. Today, if you are uncertain or fearful of death and eternity, will you believe the words of Jesus for you?

He says to you: I have come that you may have life.

Always remember there is hope with God.

"We know that God, who raised the Lord Jesus, will also raise us with Jesus and present us to himself together with you." 2 Corinthians 4:14

  • Giver of Life
    Apr 28 2025
You know, my wife, Wendy, and I go around the world and speak to so many people, and we have run into many who’ve attempted suicide.

Among the majority of these survivors we talk to, the feeling at the moment of their attempt is this: immediate regret. I want to live!

Even when life gets incredibly difficult, even when you’re facing unimaginable pain; there’s a desire to live. And that is because you are here for a purpose.

Life on this earth includes pain, the Bible talks about it. But that is not the end of the story, not your story. There is One greater than all the pain you experience in this world. And He will bring you peace—not some imagined escape, but the peace of a new, revitalized life.

Call out to Jesus, we stand with you. He is the One who loves you. He is the giver of life.

Always remember there is hope with God. I’m Andrew Palau.

"For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Ephesians 2:10
