Disappointment

Have you faced loss or disappointment so deep that you didn’t know how to keep going?

There’s a story in the Bible about a woman who felt this way. She was a widow—she had already lost her husband—and now her only son had died. Her heart must have felt completely broken.

But then Jesus came. He spoke to her gently. Then He touched her son—and gave him back his life.

That moment shows us something powerful: Jesus sees us. He comes close to the hurting. He brings hope where there seems to be none.

If your heart feels heavy today, call out to God in prayer:

“Jesus, please see me. Please bring hope and life where I feel empty.”

He comes near to those who grieve. He restores what is lost. And He will do this for you.

Always remember, there is hope with God.
