  • Ep 29 | Carrie Returns: A Lot Has Happened (Marriage, Pregnancy & Life Updates)
    Apr 13 2026

Carrie is back (two years later) and… a LOT has happened.

We talk wedding planning, what early marriage has actually looked like, and some of the harder moments along the way, including miscarriage and how isolating that experience can feel.

Now she’s eight months pregnant with a baby boy (currently going by “Butch”), getting ready for a baby shower, newborn life, and still trying to land on a name.

We also get into buying and renovating a house, her work in organ donation and transplant coordination, finishing two master’s degrees, and how she’s balancing all of that at once.

It’s one of those episodes that’s equal parts life update, real talk, and just catching up on everything that can happen in two years.

  • Ep 28 | Lindsay on Infertility, Adoption, & Becoming a Detective
    Mar 30 2026

Lindsay B. joins me, and wow… life since high school has really been doing the most.

We talk about her journey with infertility, PCOS, IVF, miscarriage, and what led her and her husband to private adoption. She shares what the adoption process was actually like, how they were matched with both of their kids, and all the emotions, chaos, and unknowns that came with it.

We also get into moving all over the country because her husband has always worked in ministry, marriage, motherhood, mental health, and what it looks like raising two Black children as White parents. Plus, Lindsay talks about going from social worker to police officer to detective, which truly feels like three separate lives in one.

  • Ep 27 | Adam And Talking Horror, The Grudge, & Pieces
    Mar 23 2026

Adam joins me for the first time and this one is fully a horror episode!

We talk about how he got into horror (shoutout to his grandma), his favorite movies, and why the “so bad it’s good” ones might actually be the best. Then we get into The Grudge (2004) and Pieces (1982), which I had never seen before, and… I have questions.

It’s chaotic, a little all over the place, and exactly what you’d expect when two people start talking horror. If you’re into scary movies or just want to listen to us spiral about them, this one’s for you!

  • Ep 26 | Nikki And Starting a Candle Company After a Layoff
    Mar 16 2026

Nikki is the founder of The Happy Elephant, a candle company that started in her bedroom after she was laid off from the hospitality industry during covid. What began as experimenting with soy candles at home turned into a full small business selling online, hosting candle-making classes, and eventually opening her own storefront in Troy.

We talk about starting a business from scratch, building community through markets and pop-ups, opening a shop while pregnant, and what it really takes to keep going when you’re figuring it out as you go.

  • Ep 25 | A Chat with Isabelle S: Female Leadership and Supporting Women in Sports
    Mar 9 2026

On today's episode, I got to chat with Isabelle, who lives in Washington and is passionate about supporting women in sports. She shares her athletic background in soccer and basketball, her current coed indoor soccer league, and why she primarily watches women’s basketball and soccer. Isabelle breaks down Unrivaled, a WNBA off-season 3v3 league designed to keep players competitive at home with better facilities and pay, and discusses ongoing WNBA CBA negotiations around salary cap and revenue share. We also touch on the public reaction to the recent Olympic hockey controversy, Isabelle’s hopes for raising her daughter, Kennedy, with confidence and equality, and our shared experiences growing up with sisters. Finally, we discuss how Isabelle built her social media career, her approach to being a leader versus a manager, and navigating gender bias at work.

  • Ep 24 | Lisa Returns To Talk Community, Being a Mom, and Empowering Women In Sports
    Mar 2 2026

Lisa is back! For a third time. Although, only the second time for you all because technology was not my friend during the last recording.

We talk about adult friendship, parenting a toddler, routines that actually work, and why public libraries might be the most underrated parenting resource. Lisa shares what it looks like to show up for her community through church involvement, volunteering as a volleyball and basketball referee, and advocating for girls in sports without embarrassment or shame.

We also get into using your voice, attending town halls, asking questions about voting access and policy, and why “showing up” sometimes means speaking up.

It’s honest, a little chaotic, and very real. Come hang out with us.

  • Ep 23 | A Chat With Cass About Traveling, Hobbies, and An LDR
    Feb 23 2026

I sat down with my coworker, Cass, for a catch-up that turned into a full-on “how is one person this interesting?” episode. We talk about her next-level crafting (including matching Wicked sweatshirts and swatching markers), and what she actually does in media strategy across paid social, SEM, and programmatic. Cass also shares her Midwest-to-agency-life path, why she loves audits and strategy, and then we get into the fun stuff: being a Disneyland Magic Key regular, travel and studying abroad, and how a 2019 breakup + Eat, Pray, Love led her to solo volunteer in India, where she met her now-fiancé. We dig into long-distance life across a 12-hour time difference, culture, and language differences as well. Then we wrap with her hobbies, hyperfixations, and cozy games.

  • Ep 22 | A Chat With Amy About Photography, Being A Mom Of 3, and the Olympics
    Feb 16 2026

Amy G. is back and we are talking about what it actually looks like to build a business and raise babies at the same time. Like… three under three, 25 weddings in a year, shooting a wedding at 36 weeks pregnant kind of chaos.

In this episode, Amy opens up about her third pregnancy, the logistics of photographing a full wedding day while very pregnant, and the wild two-hour birth story of baby Beverly. We talk about routines, choosing your battles, letting go of perfection, and how confidence is really built in the middle of the mess. Nothing is sugarcoated.

We also get into the evolution of her photography style, from trendy, moody edits to timeless, true-to-color images. Amy shares what changed, why it changed, and how motherhood shaped the way she sees everything, both behind the camera and at home.

This conversation is for the moms who feel stretched thin, the entrepreneurs figuring it out as they go, and anyone in a season where life feels full in every possible way. It is a reminder that you can handle more than you think you can, even when it feels loud. And even when it feels messy.

Hit play and come hang out with us.
