  • What Team are You On? Choosing Growth After Infidelity
    Aug 29 2025

In this episode of Heal From Infidelity, I dive into one of the most powerful analogies I’ve used with clients: asking the question, What team are you on? When betrayal shakes your world, it’s easy to question your worth and wonder why your partner seems to show up differently elsewhere. But often, the truth isn’t about your value—it’s about which “team” each person chooses to play on.

I share insights from my own experiences and client conversations about what it means to hold yourself to a higher standard, to face pain instead of avoiding it, and to recognize when someone is willing—or unwilling—to meet you on the same field. Sometimes your partner may actually be on the same team but playing a different role. Other times, they may simply not be willing to put in the effort required to compete at that level.

This episode is a call to stand firmly in your truth, choose your team intentionally, and stop making someone else’s choices mean less about you.

    Takeaways:

    • Why your partner’s actions don’t define your worth
    • How to recognize if you’re truly on the same “team”
    • The role of resilience and facing pain in real healing
    • Choosing higher standards without making yourself wrong

If you’re ready to find clarity and strength after betrayal, I’d love to walk alongside you. Reach out to me today for support.

  • When to Let the Old Stories Go | Ep #202
    Aug 8 2025

In this episode, I explore how storytelling can be a powerful tool for healing after betrayal. I explain the difference between revisiting a story to gain clarity and retelling it in a way that keeps the pain alive. You’ll hear how to recognize when it’s time to release an old, harmful narrative and replace it with an empowering one that supports growth, self-discovery, and emotional healing after infidelity.

    Key Takeaways:

    • We tell stories to make sense of our experiences.
    • Some stories can create more pain than they resolve.
    • Exploring a story can lead to deeper understanding and healing.
    • Repeating stories can keep us stuck in a painful loop.
    • Letting go of a story doesn't mean it didn't matter.
    • Identifying when a story no longer serves us is crucial.
    • New narratives can empower us to move forward.
    • Healing is a layered process, much like peeling an onion.
    • We can hold both love and pain in our narratives.
    • Our past does not have to define our future.
