  • Three Steps to Stop the Pain After Betrayal [Encore]
    Feb 6 2026

After infidelity, one of the most common questions I hear is, "Will it always hurt?" In this encore episode, I answer that question honestly and offer a clear path forward. The pain does not last forever — but healing requires understanding what actually causes the pain and learning how to work with your mind instead of against it.

I walk through three foundational steps that help the hurt subside over time. First, I explain why infidelity hurts so deeply and how the meaning we attach to it often reactivates old wounds. Then I separate remembering from hurting — showing why forgetting isn't necessary in order to heal. Finally, I teach how to set boundaries around your thoughts so you stop reopening the wound again and again.

Healing does not mean erasing the past. It means learning how to remember without suffering and how to treat yourself with compassion when pain resurfaces. This work puts the power back in your hands — regardless of whether you stay in the relationship or not.

    In this episode, I cover:

    • Infidelity hurts because of the meaning we attach to it, not the event itself
    • Remembering and hurting are two different processes
    • Thought boundaries help prevent emotional re-injury

If you're ready to heal without waiting for someone else to change, I invite you to reach out and learn how to begin this work.

  • Letting Go After Betrayal - Learning to Loosen Your Grip [Encore]
    Jan 30 2026

Letting go after betrayal sounds simple, but it's some of the hardest work we'll ever do. In this encore episode, I talk honestly about why letting go feels so impossible after infidelity and how we often hold ourselves in pain without realizing it. I walk through the most common ways we stay stuck—replaying details, reminding ourselves of the betrayal, or trying to punish our partner in order to feel safe—and why those strategies end up hurting us more than protecting us.

I also explain how trauma and re-experiencing responses can keep our minds and bodies on high alert, even long after the event has passed. From there, I share practical ways to begin loosening your grip, including cognitive shifts, mindfulness, and body-based healing approaches. Letting go isn't about minimizing what happened—it's about choosing peace and trusting that you can handle whatever comes next.

This is an intentional, courageous act of faith, and it's one that can bring real relief.

    In this episode, I cover:

    • Why replaying the betrayal keeps you stuck
    • How trauma affects both the mind and body
    • Practical ways to begin letting go safely
    • Why mindfulness and somatic work matter

If this episode resonates with you and you're ready for support, I invite you to reach out and explore working together.

  • Healing Resentment When Trust Has Been Broken [Encore]
    Jan 23 2026

Resentment is one of the heaviest emotions we carry after infidelity, and it can quietly destroy even the most well-intentioned attempts to heal. In this encore episode, I talk honestly about what resentment really is, why it shows up so powerfully after betrayal, and how it quietly takes over when we don't feel safe asking for what we want.

I walk through real-world examples from my coaching practice — from both betrayed partners and unfaithful partners — to show how resentment builds on both sides and why it keeps couples stuck in painful gridlock. I also share how resentment often has far less to do with what someone else is doing, and much more to do with what we believe we're not allowed to want, need, or ask for.

Most importantly, I explain how to move out of resentment by learning to take ownership of our desires, set honest boundaries, and stop carrying responsibilities that aren't actually ours. Healing doesn't come from control or punishment — it comes from courage, clarity, and self-advocacy.

    In this episode, I cover:

    • How to recognize resentment when it shows up
    • Why unspoken needs fuel emotional gridlock
    • How asking for what you want cuts through resentment

If you're feeling stuck, angry, or emotionally exhausted, this episode will help you see a clear path forward. Reach out if you're ready for support — you don't have to navigate this alone.

This has been a godsend for in-between days of my individual and couples counseling . I found out by a CD brought to me by Speede Delivery Dec 27, 2022, my husband was cheating. My legs were numb, and I wanted to vomit as I viewed the disc. i was shaking so hard. I never thought this would happen to me/us
I listen to these podcasts in no certain order. I listen to the one my heart needs at that moment. someday, I feel resilient and the next a failure and feel like I can't go on. I'm so tired of this pain. Andrea's podcasts lift me up and give me hope that I will make it through this dark night of my soul.
Thank you so much Andrea. You are a light of hope for me in this time of darkness.
