    • How lament opens the door for real healing
    • The freedom that comes when you stop forcing outcomes and start trusting God

  • Talk 72: Healthy Love, Healthy Boundaries
    Nov 25 2025

    Send us a text

Have you ever wondered if setting a boundary makes you a bad Christian, a selfish friend, or a dishonoring daughter or son? For years I wrestled with those questions and carried a lot of anxiety because I did not understand healthy, biblical boundaries.

In Talk 72: Healthy Love, Healthy Boundaries, I share a live teaching from my local church where we unpack what Scripture really says about burdens, responsibility, and love. We look at Galatians 6, explore the difference between helping someone carry a heavy crisis and carrying their everyday backpack of responsibility, and talk about why God honoring limits are actually an expression of love, not a rejection of it.

Inside this episode you will hear:

    • A short recap of Talk 71, Facing Conflict God's Way, and why conflict has to be handled in a holy way first
    • Real life examples of manipulation, spiritual pressure, and guilt that can leave you feeling trapped
    • A simple, biblical framework for what you are responsible for and what you are not
    • Questions to ask yourself when you are not sure if it is time to set a boundary
    • Sample boundary statements you can adapt for your own relationships
    • A powerful story of how God confirmed a very painful boundary through a prophetic word at just the right time

If you are feeling drained, resentful, confused, or anxious around a relationship, this conversation is for you. My prayer is that God uses it to help you release what he never asked you to carry and to love others more wisely, with truth, limits, and peace.

If you have not listened to Talk 71 yet, Facing Conflict God's Way, I recommend starting there and then coming back to this episode, since the two messages really belong together.

In this powerful message, Shaunna Coin takes us on a deeply personal journey through pride, conviction, confession, and forgiveness. Podcast Description (Fearless Tips & Talks – Talk 70: Trading Rules for Relationship)

In this powerful episode, Christy Boulware welcomes her friend Stephanie Gilbert from Pastors’ Wives Tell All to share a deeply personal story about breaking free from legalism and learning to walk in the freedom of relationship with Jesus.

Stephanie grew up in a church culture where rules outweighed grace—where fear, guilt, and performance defined faith. Through her journey, she discovered that God’s heart has always been for relationship, not religion.

Together, Christy and Stephanie unpack what legalism looks like today, how it quietly seeps into our hearts, and how to trade striving for peace by returning to the simplicity of loving God and others.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re never “enough” in your faith, or struggled to separate conviction from shame, this episode will speak straight to your heart.

🕊 Listen in and be reminded: God never asked for perfection—He invited you into His presence.
